Hey guys! We are very excited to announce that the Blog System is now ready to launch on Monday, March 21st. We will wrap up the Christmas Contest posts on the 17th, making us ready to begin flooding the blog with everyone’s articles.
Blog System Recap:
Blog submissions are now sent through either myself, or Philadelphia. This allows us to have a “physical copy” of your submission for content screening and scheduling. When an author's turn comes up on the schedule, one of us will PM them, alerting them that their article is ready to post on Monday under the HW blog submissions folder. By posting on Monday, this allows the Mods, editors, and any other member who would like to help, review and critique the post until Wednesday night. All Submissions must be ready for posting on Thursday (morning preferably). Every week there will be a new blog post, unless we are blessed with the ability to do more.
Also, as a bonus to this new system, HW is now allowing Authors to include a picture with their post (thanks go to Katie for this idea). The stipulation is that these pictures must be relevant to the piece, and will be viewed by myself or Philadelphia for approval.
Thanks for all your cooperation, guys! I’m so excited these authors finally get to reveal their posts to you. This new system will give HW an online blog presence representing quality posts written by young Christian writers seeking to serve the Lord! Oh, and don’t forget, we can always use new submissions coming in. This will be an ongoing process. So keep writing!
