Why is there a black spot on my Avatar?
Did someone slip me the black spot?

Ahem. The black spot appears on your avatar's thumbnail in the gallery, so it must be an issue with the original file.

Yes, it would have to be a problem with the image itself... not sure how that would have happened though.

That is odd...looks sort of like an airbrush stroke.

Like someone accidentally clicked while editing it...

Then it shouldn't be to hard to fix! Just resize it again and replace the bad avatar.

Joe, I know one of the ML had to resize your avatar because when it went into the gallery the first time, it was massively oversized. They probably accidentally made the mark while editing it in GIMP or whatever.

You know, done right, it could look like a burn hole...

Theory, theory! Phili is undoubtedly right! It had to be resized after I uploaded it, and Hannah probably clicked on it.

Now to fix it or leave it for someone else to fix, that is the question.

Looks like a 20 pt soft stroke with high fading to me. But, I use fireworks so that probably means nothing to anybody else.

Hey now! I clicked on it? I have his image saved to my computer, the one that was uploaded, and it definitely has no marking on it.

Well you're the only one who edited it. I didn't edit it. I never opened it in anything besides Filezilla.
