| Okay, the moment you all have been waiting for, hyperventilating over, and stalking your MLs over is finally here. However, we would first like to thank everyone for their participation. We were blown away by you guys yet again. Several of these were close calls for some of the judges. Because we loved so many of these we will be releasing the winners, as well as the runner ups, for the categories that were a close call. Drabbles- Our Drabbles were a very close call. The winner and runner up were two very different styles, but they each held a lot of appeal for our judges. Winner: Jonathan Garner Runner Up: Vanya Katerina Jaynin Poems- The poems were beautiful and stirring. Again, we had to make a decision between two very good entries. Winner: Vilisse Runner Up: Evening L. Aspen Short Story- Wow, we were blown away by a couple of these. Our winner was unanimous, but we had a tie on our runner ups. Winner: BushMaid Runner Up: Mathew Lauser Runner Up: KatherineROID Story Hooks- I think this may have been the most frustrating category for our judges. So many of us wanted to know what happened next. Our winner actually sent in two different story hooks, and one of them was our winner. Winner: Shawn Henderson Runner Up: Princess of the King Creature Descriptions- The judges all agreed on this one, without a runner up. Winner: Riniel Jasmina Congratulations to our winners and runner ups, you all worked very hard. The winner’s prizes will be shipped as soon as we receive them. Thank you all for participating. We had a great turn out. | |

| Hey, you all were winners just for stepping up to the challenge. Lots of people won't because they are afraid of not placing. Just because you didn't place, doesn't mean you didn't have a good start to a story hook, drabble, poem, etc. We had to base our judgment on a lot of things. Structure, style, appeal, the relevance of the piece to its category. Lots of things went into the votes. | |

| All judges, all winners, and probably all participants are going to receive a small token of our appreciation for your participation in the form of a very special postcard about which I will say nothing more. So, in brief, if you haven't sent in your address with your entry please send it over to me. It will make my life so much simpler... Thank you all. | |

| Post subject: | Re: The Tally Is In |
| Quick question - do we have to wait for our entry to be posted to get the judges' comments, or can they be sent in advance? OK, OK, I have no patience. I gave myself a strict no-lookie-at-the-contest-entry rule for myself in case I found something else that needed to be fixed, and couldn't do anything about it since it had already been submitted. Now I want to know what the judges thought - and read it again - so I can think about possible revisions. | |

| Post subject: | Re: The Tally Is In |
| Nope. You must wait. I will be posting them both together. The entry will go on the blog with a link to the judge's comments under story excerpts, and the judge's comments will be posted under story excerpts with a link to the entry on the blog. Patience is a virtue Katty Roy | |

| While we are on the subject, or maybe we weren't..., is there a category everyone is most interested in seeing on the blog first? And please, do not choose the topic that holds your competition's entries. Base this off of the topic alone. This will help give me an idea of which entries I should post first. | |

| How about this, you guys give me a list of the order you would like to see the blog pieces (and consequently judges comments) post. The category you want to see posted first should be at the top of the list, the one that interests you the least at the bottom. | |

| *sigh* Can't you just post them all at once? Fine, here's my list: 1. Story Hooks (to get us hooked ) 2. Drabbles 3. Short Stories 4. Poems 5. Creature Description | |
