I have a friend who says he may be interested in joining, but he wants to take a look around, first. I thought that you could browse the forums without an account, but it is telling him he needs to register. Help? I gave him http://www.holyworlds.org/forum this link.

You should be able to. Just not view some stuff like Story Excerpts and so on

(Out of curiosity...who?)

Yup. I think Story Excerpts, Worlds, and some of the rooms in the Citadel are hidden from non-members.

If he wants to browse around before joining, that is fine, most people do. We can't give him access to the members-only sections (like The Village), though. He should be able to see all he needs to see in the regular browsing sections.

Chat is also not accessible to a non member, just as a side note.

Well, he wanted to see the quality of some of the stories...But that's ok. He's leaning towards not joining anyways.

When I was at the Fireside, it said a guest was looking at it. Isn't that not supposed to happen?

I think that is a bug. The Who Is Viewing section has weird things in it. Ghosts. :D

Yes. I have even had people not show up on Who is Viewing when I know they are on there because we are in chat together.

Okay guys, as fun loving as this has been, I think it is time to lock and archive this thread. The purpose of this thread was to deal with Jonathan's question. That has been done. It will now be archived.
