So, now that everyone knows us judges will use infallible logical means to ensure you post at least one drabble, you better do it!  *glares with that scary mommy eye* :dieshappy:

I would also like to mention that the accumulation of just some of Mark's posts in this thread alone have added up to over 100 words. So instead of posting about why you aren't submitting a drabble yet, why don't you just save your time and words and post 'em?

Aubrey Hansen wrote:
*chuckles at Mark and waits expectantly* Well...? ;)
I maintain that there are other variables at play here which make posting the drabbles a hassle. ;)

However, I finally got around to posting one of the drabbles, and should have another posted soon.

I went to post one drabble and ended up posting two. Now I'm back to an odd number of submissions. :?

The fact that my drabbles are written on a computer that doesn't have Internet access and the simplest way to transfer them is to retype them.

I sent a homeschooling friend of mine the first drabble I wrote. Then he sent me a drabble he wrote after I explained what a drabble was. Yesterday when we saw his family again, his mom told my mom that "we are just loving Elizabeth. I just gave up on getting him to write anything but now she's inspired him!" He wrote three drabbles and has over 200 words started in his own book! o.O

That's awesome! I wished to submit more of my horrible tries at drabbles, but I fell sick for awhile and couldn't sum up the energy to write one(Or go on the computer for that matter).

I also had a lot of fun. I compared the whole experience as a sort of antiNaNoWriMo. Instead of focusing on quanity of words it forced you to focus on the economy of words. It really helped get me out of a NaNoWriMo mindset and into one of editing.
