Jonathan had a brilliant idea. We should interview Katie about her children's book after it's released. :D Picture books isn't a topic we've covered yet, so that would be great.

That was not an escaping expression. That was a "I have no idea how to respond because everyone is going to expect me to respond with attempting to escape because everyone heretofore has replied with attempting to escape" expression.

It seems Katie is the first person who is already resigned to it. ;)

I don't think it's exactly resignation, per se.

May I ask Coleman Luck if he might be interested in an interview? He's the author of Angel Fall, which is a Narnian-like allegory, but more towards the paranormal/horror/dark fantasy end, so I think he could give a unique take on Christian fiction. Also, if he's willing to talk about it, he could give some good insights on what happens when a deal with a publisher goes wrong - he had a fallout with Zondervan, so I think he could be a good encouragement to our members. I've been in contact with him, so I could ask. I'd cohost (or possibly even "host" if necessary). Thoughts?

My pleasure. :D I thought it would be a good opportunity, since I have been in contact with him, and I would absolutely LOVE to interview him! His book isn't pure horror - it's very unique, so I think it would be a fresh perspective for the podcast.

Seriously? Maybe you and Katie would both like to do an interview then, and the three of us can discuss children's books as a whole, plus your individual books.

Speaking of, I still need to order Katie's book before I go camping this weekend. *marks on her immediate to do list, now that she has permission to get it *

Well, I had to take a month off from the Podcast, for multiple reasons, but am now back and ready for action. I have a podcast I will be recording tomorrow (get excited, guys, this guy was a PR guy for the Transformer's Movie and is now turned Author) and a Sci-Fi Podcast which will be released soon.

A Topic snippet has been recorded and will be released soon, and I am setting up a date for the next topic snippet.

The Round Table Podcast has a date set for recording (that will be fun!), and I have 2 other Authors set up with recording dates. There are 3 authors I am waiting from solid dates and such from, so the Podcast is back in business. :D Huzzah!

You all missed the Podcast, right? :beg:

I am looking for someone who knows a lot about outlining to do a topic snippet with me for the HW Podcast. We have a lot of members who are looking at the pros and cons, and trying to find info on it, so if anyone has a firm knowledge on the subject, could you please contact me or recommend someone?

I have a rather unique form of outlining that I do, but if you're just having one person on the topic snippets, you probably want someone a bit more orthodox. *thinks who she might know*

Might talk to Hannah about this, she does outlining (usually), not to mention she's a self-published author like me and recently got a cool (though non-paid) offer from a poetry magazine.

Thanks, Grace! Because the Topic Snippets are so short, I can only have one person on at a time. But we could do 2 topic snippets on the Podcast. Perhaps Alternative Outlining?

That would be awesome, Matt! Thanks for asking for me. :D

I think it'd be cool to hear an alternative method of outlining after the "normal" method is covered in a different snippet. :D
