I like the subtle symbolism in the colors there. ;)

Merry Christmas, all. I hope that you had a truly blessed day and that the Lord was and will be close to you this season.

Merry Christmas, everyone! Sorry for the lateness. I'd probably be best off waiting for the Happy New Year thread. :x
Hope it was a blessed day for you all. ^_^

What did y'all do for Christmas? :) We were just glad to have a quiet day off from work! We didn't have time to decorate until Christmas Eve, but that was a nice way to spend the night before. We brought out all our old wedding decorations and reused them as Christmas decorations/anniversary decorations. :D On Christmas we played games, watched Christmas movies, and then had people over for dinner. An old friend came and brought two new friends! It was so nice to have someone to share the day with... especially since hubby cooked his first turkey. ;)

I was house sitting, so I got up at four in the morning and drove to my cat sitting job before getting home at five to wake my siblings. We played some games and rummaged through our stockings until dawn, then slept a while, then opened presents and had breakfast. I slept a while more before heading back "home" and spending the afternoon alone and in prayer. That was a really nice switch.

We went to church at eleven o'clock, after breakfast, came home after the service, and ate pie, because that was the only food that was ready. Then we made dinner, and while it was cooking opened some presents from friends. I can't remember if we watched a movie that afternoon, or if it was St. Stephens day. Anyway, after dinner we hung out, and went to bed. :D
