Hello, People of Holy Worlds!

I have decided to write up a post to officially introduce myself to you as the Submissions Editor of the Holy Worlds Blog. Basically I’m the ‘go to’ person if you have a post you want to submit, or if you need ideas to work with etc, as Airi explained in her Official Chatter post; so if you need assistance with writing a blog post, then feel free to bob me a PM.

My PM is always open, so never feel you can’t ask me anything; I’ll always do my best to help.

Now, it has been a little while since we had a blog post up because of all the changes we were putting in place. But now things are rolling again, and I want to encourage you to come forward and write something for the blog. It may be something that you have written already, and it just needs polishing; it could be a drabble, a short story, or maybe a poem. You may want to submit a factual writing piece, we’d love it! It can be Historical Fiction, Fantasy, Science Fiction, or a general writing topic.

Friends, we would love to see a piece written by you submitted to the blog, so please consider writing for us. We’re a close community, and for the blog to have pieces written by so many different members, it makes it even more special!

The blog is in great need of submissions, folks; so please do consider submitting a piece! Just send me a pm, or drop a note below and I’ll PM you. If you’re worried you don’t have enough ideas, then bob me a PM anyway, and I’m sure I will be able to work on some ideas with you.

By the way guys, reviews are welcome as well! So if you have wanted to write a review, or have enjoyed a book/author enough to write a review for them, then you could write it for the blog.

I already promised "Fear of Falling" to the HW blog. It should be lurking in a submissions folder somewhere, and I think it can be posted as it is - unedited... it was already posted on my personal blog but everyone said that was fine. If it's not fine let me know and I'm sure I can "recycle" it into original material.

I also have a Sanctity of Life part six brewing somewhere, so if you're in need of something poke me for that.

Oh, and I think I'm supposed to do one about tragedy... I've kind of lost track of where I was going with that, though. But if you find yourself in need of material please feel free to poke me. With the proper incentive I can write something pretty quickly.

The Fear of Falling post is in the folder and one of the first that will be posted, due to its submission date.

As for the rest, we'd love to have those in our folders!!!

What sorts of things can people submit?

Oh all sorts of things, my dear!!! Book reviews, essays, poetry, serial stories, topical posts(on any writing related topic), how-tos(how to write description, how to write about death- just to give examples), writing tips, in-depth looks at a fantasy/sci-fi element (I did a 4 part series on dragons for the HW blog, for example), comparisons (e.g. Frankenstein vrs Jekyll and Hyde, which monster worldview should we write from?)- just about anything. It can be written from a historical fiction point of view, sci-fi, or fantasy, or it can just be about writing in general.

Well, it's the new year....and I'd love to bank up the blog posts for the March - May schedule ahead of time. I'd really appreciate extra blog posts. Book reviews, writing theory posts, stories, poems, drabbles, and so on. If you have one, or more, that you'd like to feature on the blog then please do contact me.

It can be something that you have posted on the forums, so if you've posted it before, don't think you can't submit it. It can be a fresh, new piece of work, or something older that you've had tucked away for a while.

Bob me a PM and we can talk about submission dates. If you want help with what to write, then feel free to PM me for ideas!

Yes, of course. Basically, you need to submit blog posts directly to me. So you write one up, PM it to me and I'll look over it and then, all being well, I'll put it into the blog folder,and it will be scheduled in then.
