I missed the HWHF party; what happened with changing names?

We had a costume party. Everyone dressed up as a historical character.

It looks so fun, but I won't be able to come....my family is hosting an open house for the church.

Everyone please observe the following schedule. Many parties seem to have a hard time with winding down and wrapping up, but our cleaning bots like to be on schedule, so observe the following dates and times:

December 31st - All activities open.
On this day we get everything set up, people congregate, participate, learning the rules start on entries, etc. The party room will be opened at midnight for organizers to start posting threads in. Thread posting may continue all day.

January 1st - All activities close.
All activities will end at midnight on the first. So there will be a total of 48 hours to read everything and enter all the contests and get your writing done and stuff. So you'll have all of Monday night and all of Tuesday to celebrate and do things.

January 2nd - Announcements and Cleanup
The forum will remain open on this day. Judging will be conducted in the morning and announced in the afternoon. Winners will be announced in the Party Room but also in a grand thread on the Intercom. This is your last chance to come in and make that final witty remark.

The Party Room will be locked and archived at midnight on January 2nd. Tardy winners will still be able to claim their prizes through a thread in the Intercom.

You should participate in the coloring contest! *nods nods * I will be scribbling all day! *is so excited * I rarely get to participate in the coloring contests, since I normally host them, so I have been looking forward to it! And I like the challenge of only having two days to work on them!

For the rest of the world the time is 8:00 AM Greenwich Mean Time. You should be able to do your own conversion from that.
