I don't "know" how to do it, no. However, I don't think this is a very complex thing - in fact, I wouldn't be surprised if this was already in the forum's code, and just needed to be implemented (forum's=phpBB's), as I've seen it before.

Alright, I've looked into it some, and it seems as though I may be correct. I suggest searching around the forum settings and such for things relating to birthdays. I don't think this needs to be coded in extra (however, I could be wrong).

Ok, I was wandering around a certain room, and I found this setting:



It is set at No, don't allow. I wonder if this has something to do with it.

I don't know if that's it or not - it doesn't sound like it, though (again, could be wrong; I've never been behind-the-scenes of a phpBB forum before).

Are there any other settings related to birthdays (also, it may require someone of higher rank - don't know)?

It was very simple in the end. Sometimes it's just realising how to do it that's the hard part. I have sent the details to Vanya, so she can do it for us here.

I turn that off as one of the first things I do whenever I start a forum. We've decided in the higher levels to not activate this feature on the forums. If you want to change this, we can review it, but I have disabled it again until further notice.
