Is it possible to have more than one ring? Like for example, being an Editor as well as a Marcher Lord? And if you can, Which ring would be shown on your profile?

Someone can have more than one ring if they've been at more than one rank, such as an Honor Roll Member who becomes a Marcher Lord and so has both a purple and a yellow ring. Only one ring will be shown on their profile, usually the ring of their highest rank.

The ranks are linked to the groups. If you are in all the groups you will have all the ranks, and thus you will have all the groups. You can only display one rank/ring at a time. You can change what rank you want to show by changing your Default User Group in the UCP.

For example, I am every rank from a Registered User up to ML, except for foundational member. But only my yellow ring shows up. You can see what ranks the user has by going to their profile, but it doesn't really matter since the higher ranks include all the permissions from ranks below them.

The profile only displays the default usergroup as far as I know.

If you click on the profile, on the second bar, underneath the word 'profile' is a place that says 'groups' Then there's a pop-up thingy that shows all the 'groups' the member is part of. I think that's what Caleb meant...not sure though.

Basically if you go to the bottom of the index page, someone who has all rings will be listed in all of the Moderator, Honour Roll Member, Editor and ML lists; their colour will be yellow as that is their top rank, but they will still be in the other lists as they have been all those ranks.

What color a person has is actually not related to the most recent rank or the highest rank. We have to manually change it when we promote someone, or else it will stay the same, and you can always change it yourself.

Yes, you can have all colors/rings. I do. And Jay is right, we do have to manually change your color. You are added to the group with one click of the button and then that group is made your default in color and ring with another. Your default group is the color your ring and username will be to others, though you may have membership in more than one group and have multiple rings.

I remember that, Lady E, I think...it would have been when I was new, methinks. XD I was wondering why you got demoted...
