Weekly Challenge #275: Put some conflict in a friendship you're writing.

Directions:
1. Post on the challenge thread, declaring the goals you have committed to. This must be done before midnight on Monday.
2. When you have finished your goals, post on the challenge thread again, stating what goals you have completed, how many times you have completed them, and whether any of them were combined.
3. At midnight on Saturday you are not allowed to report any more finished goals, and the challenge is over.

Rules:
1. You can repeat the weekly challenges, and get more points, but if you repeat your own personal goal, you will not get extra points.
2. The organizer has the right to veto any personal goal that seems too easy (i.e. writing a sentence).

Points:
You can earn points by:
1. completing the weekly challenge
2. repeating the weekly challenge
3. completing your personal goal
4. combining your personal goal and the weekly challenge

So, basically, just write any "friendship" in Peter's Angel? Talk about drama central.

I've got a convention this week, plus school starting, so I'm not going to set an official goal for this week... But next week I'll be getting into my new schedule, which will involve dedicated writing days, because I'm now additionally doing writing for church as part of school. :dieshappy: But I will be working on my ghostwriting project and some beta-reading in the car while we travel. :D

I'm sorry the next challenge is late, I was sick over the weekend. :P No one did the challenge last week, so if anyone is interested, I may just leave this one open for this week, and make the deadline for joining Wednesday.

I was thinking that, too. Sorry you weren't feeling well. Thanks for taking over the last few weeks! :)

Personal goal: Get a little more settled into new house, start some editing on at least one WIP.
Time Zone: CST

My goal is to get caught up on the backlog that piled up while I was out of town for a few days, and be firm with setting a new schedule so I am not working on client projects past midnight seven days a week... Does that count? XD After this week, I should have my new schedule in place, so I should be able to set more quantifiable goals for actual book projects.

Weekly Challenge #275:Put some conflict in a friendship you're writing. Accepted

I was busy running for my life from a hurricane last week.
This week, I cleaned up the fallen branches and emptied the spoiled food in the fridge from 4 days without power. No permanent harm to anything.

No Personal Goals this week ... just getting back in the groove.

We are so thrilled to hear that you're safe and there wasn't any major damage! Praise the Lord. :D

I can't wait to see if it ends in a surrender, a sword fight or a gun battle ... Tihomir may not appreciate your weekly challenge. ;)
