This is looking good! :D Just a suggestion, do you think you could put them in the order of who has the most points? It just might be a little easier to keep track.

BTW, my username is Aliza Rose Mimetes, not Lady Aliza Mimetes.

Sure....I s'pose I could expend the couple extra calories. ;)

Ooops. Sorry.

EDIT: There you go. In order of points AND alphabetized when a couple people share a point count.

Question on the scoring! *curious *

I had a weekly goal and a personal goal... I completed the weekly but failed the personal... so did they cancel each other out?

*is too lazy to go look up the rules in the original post*

Yes, they cancelled each other out, so your score had stayed the same. However, if you'd had a personal goal and failed it, your score would have gone down, so even though your score didn't go up, it worked to keep it steady.

I think I must have forgotten how scoring works...I thought everything was 5 point increments...but then how do we get numbers like 13? o.O

It's like this, Wolf:

Quote:
5 points for completing the weekly challenge.
5 points for completing a personal challenge.
2 extra points for completing a personal challenge that incorporates the weekly challenge.
3 extra points for each additional completion of the weekly challenge

Ah, I remember now, thanks! *couldn't find post with scoring rules earlier* ;)

And I must say that this makes the scoring more interesting than if it were all 5 point increments.

Yes, the whole points thing has really served to motivate me...now I just need to get it to be a habit, and I believe this will continue to help me, the weekly challenge thing has been the CPR that got the writer within me breathing again!A bit of a weirdly poetic way of saying it, but accurate. :dieshappy:

I's a wee bit confused. Last week (week 3) I was at 23 points, and now I only have twenty. Am I supposed to be at 33 points?

Are you sure? You're not mixing yourself up with Katharina? Regardless, you should be at least at thirty. I'll add the extra three if you're sure.

Here's what my scores were from the other weeks, from looking at the old threads:

Week 1: Nothing, but you were nice and didn't deduct points. ;)
Week 2: 13 points. I did the weekly challenge twice and a personal goal.
Week 3: 23 points for the weekly challenge and a personal goal.
Week 4: 33 points for the weekly challenge and a personal goal.

I've entered four drabbles into the contest now. ^_^
See? http://www.holyworlds.org/scifi/viewtop ... 394#p27394

Anyway. I'm officially done now. I've regained some of my self-confidence. :D

(I might do more drabbles later. I love drabbles. I love scifi. This is perfect for me.)
