Weekly Challenge #246: Make up your own weekly challenge. It should be something fun and out of the ordinary.

Directions:
1. Post on the challenge thread, declaring the goals you have committed to. This must be done before midnight on Monday.
2. When you have finished your goals, post on the challenge thread again, stating what goals you have completed, how many times you have completed them, and whether any of them were combined.
3. At midnight on Saturday you are not allowed to report any more finished goals, and the challenge is over.

Rules:
1. You can repeat the weekly challenges, and get more points, but if you repeat your own personal goal, you will not get extra points.
2. The organizer has the right to veto any personal goal that seems too easy (i.e. writing a sentence).

Points:
You can earn points in these ways:
1. completing the weekly challenge
2. repeating the weekly challenge
3. completing your personal goal
4. combining your personal goal and the weekly challenge

I read about a 'drabble' on the HW Challenge #1 and wondered if anyone as verbose as me can convey a complete story in just 100 words. It is sort of like the challenge of poetry where every word needs to count.

"A drabble is a short work of fiction of around one hundred words in length. The purpose of the drabble is brevity, testing the author's ability to express interesting and meaningful ideas in a confined space."

FYI: Traditionally, a drabble was EXACTLY 100 words in length ... if anyone wants to be a purist.

*scurries in* Oh, it's still Monday. I'm not too late!

I need to finish the second Peter's Angel synopsis this week. Therefore...

Personal Goal: Finish the chronological Peter's Angel synopsis
Timezone: CST

(My first synopsis was broken up by character POV, and was very loose. I am working on a structured one broken up by chapter/scene that focuses on the overall plot and less of the backstory.)

I've always been told it was EXACTLY 100 words as well. Have fun!

Weekly Challenge complete!

I figured out a communications system that relies heavily of the transportation working within 10 minutes of posting my goal. Figuring out how to break the airships was much harder. Finally decided that if something happens to the central hub and repair shops they won't be running much longer. Especially if there's a shorting of the wamdium that makes them work better and the government is controlling the whole thing.

Personal Goal completed.
