How did your goals go last week? What are they for this week?

My goals are to finish editing my novella and send to my formatter, write 7 pages in my other novella, and edit the VBS skits.

Last week I rehung the shelves that just fell off the wall after 16 years because the Rubbermaid plastic anchors cracked with age. Now they are held up with steel brackets and 2” lag bolts.

This week I am restless. I need to finish the plan revisions on the 4 Story warehouse in Manatee County, FL (including writing a detailed report of all the changes made addressing 86 Government Agency ‘concerns’). I would like to restart the Play By Post game. I need to send the revised cover art to Leam for feedback. I want to either do some creative writing, or just sketch for fun.

It has rained EVERY DAY for over a week now. I am really tired of getting rained on.

I spent last week on a mission trip to a deaf school in Jamaica, and it was incredible! My youth group and I helped with work around campus while the kids were in school and then played with the kids afterwards. It was so cool to talk (well, sign) with the kids and play with them. I also grew a lot closer with my youth group. 3 days before leaving for the trip a childhood friend of mine (who I hand't talked to in probably 5 years), from when I lived in Florida back in elementary school, passed away in a car accident, so I was (and am) pretty shaken up and not my normal self, but I couldn't have asked for a better or more supportive group. they all helped me and made me take the time I needed to myself. Last week was just absolutely incredible and went way better that I could've expected or hoped for.

Ok, now that I've finished rambling about last week, here's my goals for this week:
This week is insanely busy, but I want to continue strengthening the relationships with my youth group from our trip, I want to continue to move forward through the pain of losing a friend, and I want to have a ton of fun when my family goes to a nearby amusement park Saturday (as in, I don't want to think about anything else that day, whatever it may be). As for writing, I just want to finish a short story I've been working on :)

Not speak my mind as I realized a project's technical decisions had no real basis in technological merit.

Sent out the ARC for Book 1 which is also the semi-beta for the series start. atpollard's cover looks awesome!

Clean off my desk and priority stack, then get back to organizing.

The warehouse hit a snag when the Count Utility Engineer required a redesign of the water and sewer connections. So that goal will carry over to next week.

I took the first step to restarting the Waterworld game.

Leam got his cover by his deadline.

No writing, but I did a little sketching.

Hey. New here. I need to start writing goals.

When I hit flow, I can bank around 1000 words, easily, during my good time of writing. Usually that's in the late LATE evening.

If I can get around 500 per day, then that's better than nothing. I did say years ago I wanted to write this story sometime, so I better start now.

Does anyone know any good iOS mobile speech-to-text apps I might be able to use when I start monologuing out loud?
