What are your goals for this week?

Set up the "Story Prompt Challenge" and see how it goes. With two and a half of us, that's a win.

Continue to write "Tinny". A struggle. Need to make the bad guy memorable. Not sure how.
Continue work on my web app that makes interesting crew for a starship. Working code that still needs work.

Go through proofreader edits, find formatter, send file to formatters.

Writing: To finish my short story on Anastasia (maybe I'll post it afterwards and get y'all's critiques), and to write some in both my spy book rewrite and my fantasy book

Personal: To fully catch up on school as I am still not allowed to play volleyball this week (this is the last week of no volleyball, thank goodness, or else I might go crazy), as well as to get halfway through my current drawing as it needs to be done ASAP

Aha! I found it! :)

Ok,

Writing: Write every morning for an hour- So far, so good. :D
Avoid getting distracted during writing time like I was today...

Personal: Organize everything on the guest bed/get it cleared off. That would be one of those half-finished projects

Do nothing to strain my right leg. :/ Yeah... I can passively stretch it, but if I actively lift it too fast, or lift my legI've figured out it's sudden strain, but I can't decide if it's muscular or joint-related..., then go to rotate it, it feels off and I suddenly can't lift my leg. It's like my hip will pop if I try to raise itwhich made me think joint... but I can still stretch it passively just as much as I could before Which makes me think muscular, because wouldn't a joint issue manifest *every* time I moved the joint? and I can lift my leg with my hand, bring it around the front, then slowly lower it without my hand helping and it will often "realign(?)" and loosen back up... so if any of you know what that is/ways to help other than rest, nutrition, etc. that would be great... It had to be a few weeks before my first karate tournament... and my freestyle musical form will be the last thing I do that day, and is the hardest. Does Holy Worlds have a resident nurse? ;)

No, but we can command healing over you! Will you girls stop injuring yourself at sports, please? <glances over the top of her glasses>

In any event, do you know a chiropractor, or can you see one? That's what I'd recommend first.

Goal partially completed. I found a formatter. Nothing else.

Goal completed!
After only 3 weeks of trying, I finally wrote 500 words. :)

(The secret is to take one Two-Hour nap in place of two One-hour naps).

Writing: Complete! My Anastasia short story is done and posted on here, and I even worked on my fantasy book some :D

Personal: Yeah no. I didn't get any of my it done. In fact, in terms of catching up in school, I actually got more behind *facepalm*

Oh well, to quote Anne of Green Gables, "Isn't it wonderful that tomorrow is new day with no mistakes yet?"

Writing - While I did write *something* every day, I didn't work on my WIP or Lensebearers Saturday.

Personal - Made definite progress on the organization (hence no focused writing time  ), but definitely didn't finish. It was a nice change of pace.

I hadn't really thought about the timing... I will try! Thanks for the tip. I know someone who uses a local chiropractor, so I do have that option. Resting is already making a big difference, as well as gentle strengthening and stretching. My older sister had some good tips (like warm up even when you practice at home... ), and Mom ran across a stretch that allowed me to discover and begin targeting some tightness on that side. :D

Congratulations everyone! It has been really encouraging to see others making progress, and keeping at it when things don't go as planned.
