My goals are to go through my novella beta-reader comments and continue researching for my WWI novel.

Figure out some sort of life rhythm.

Keep working on "Sofia Serrento's Spectacular Flying Circus and the Sky Pirates of Shanghai"

I'm really late consider the week is pretty much over, but I do like that this forces me to think of goals, so I'll still post :)

Writing: Not really any specific goals. I want to keep up with my character interview, but I'm still struggling with symptoms from the concussion, so I don't think any more writing will be possible right now.
Personal: To use the time away from volleyball (forced because of the concussion) to spend more time in God's Word, drawing, and a major project I'm working in with my friend. And to try to catch up on school

Well, to get any writing at all done... I did copy and paste one sentence today! Although I had set aside an extra hour this morning... only to fall asleep after turning off the alarm... :bawl:

And on the flip side, to be joyful even when everything seems to conspire against it. :dieshappy: (hopefully this smile will be genuine soon! ;) )

Goal: survive the week ... I did it!

Sun. Worship & Praise God at New Beginnings Life Center with Nick “The Greek” Provolos.

Mon. Work.
Tue. Work half day, relay vinyl floor planks half day.
Wed. Surgery.
Thu. Recover enough to drink.
Fri. Recover enough to eat pudding and applesauce.
Sat. Remove IVs and go home with Pain pumps surgically connected to abdomen.

Sunday ... Start of a new week, so I accomplished my goal for the week. :D

Wow atpollard, I did not realize you were having surgery! And I was complaining about a concussion  . I will be praying for a speedy recovery for you!

Writing: To keep up with my character interview. Kinda. I didn't do as much I had wanted, but I did as much as my head would allow, so I'm counting this as a win :)
Personal: Sadly, the head wouldn't allow it. I did get some school catch-up done, but not much. It's hard to do school when you can't read or think well :/

Well, this week wasn't the greatest, but I did what I could and guess what? No matter how terrible my week was, God is still good and I will keep praising His name forevermore, as I know His plans are still for my good (Romans 8:28, John 13:7, Jeremiah 29:11 and many, many more). So, whether or not this week went how I planned, it's okay, because God has a plan which is far greater than mine :). I pray you all had a blessed week!

Yay for progress! Congratulations everyone! I did get some writing done Sunday, although yesterday I actually (finally) started counting my words and I wrote... 25... but I only had 8 minutes, so hopefully that number will start going up. :)

And AnnewithanE, you are still talking like my book! But that is actually helping build that drive to keep writing, and to get that story told. I am glad you felt led to write something along those lines last time :D Besides that, it is hilarious and a little creepy... Are you sure you haven't hacked into my Scrivener file? Or my brain?

Haha having read some of your writing I take that as a compliment! But I promise I haven't hacked into either your Scrivener file or your brain

That's good to know! And thanks!

Also, praying for your recovery Atpollard! It sounds like you had quite the difficult week. :(
