This week I'm mostly working and starting the new semester at college... But I'll also be ghostwriting as much as I can. :D

Writing: literally just to write at all. I've been so crammed for time lately that I haven't had a chance
Personal: Survive my interview for a potential summer job and continue the relationships/friendships I strengthened at my youth group's winter retreat last weekend

Don't burnout on college during the second week of classes in my last semester of undergrad.

Also start brainstorming for the first "Sofia Serrento and Her Spectacular Flying Circus" story.

So, do these goal weeks run from Tuesday to Tuesday, or is the goal to finish Saturday?

Personal goal: Music practice 5 days this week

Writing goal: I'm not really sure how fast I write to know what a good goal is... so we'll say my goal is get focused writing time every day except Sunday

And, my last goal will be to get my wakeup-night routine back in order... Ltg. Hansen, you have inspired me! ;)

Good question. If I can get my act together and post on Monday like I keep aiming to, the goal weeks will run from Monday-Sunday.

Ok so I might be a little early by like a day or so, but I didn't want to forget to post.
Last week I didn't meet any of my goals  . However, this week I met all of them!
My writing goal was just to write at all, and I managed to write two different poems (one of which took over an hour as it was about having a panic attack, and writing it was extremely difficult because it brought back the feelings of panic and terror), and I worked a little bit on my books!
My personal goals were to continue the relationships I had strengthened on a youth trip last weekend, and I definitely managed to do that. It helped that a girl's small group started this week though, lol. My other goal was to survive my interview for a potential summer job, and I definitely did. I don't know if I'll take the job yet, as it's contingent on a couple things, but the people really liked me and really want me to be able to do it (evidently I was the only person they interviewed that they really liked), and I really want to do it as well :).
And these weren't goals, but a couple major things happened this week which I'm super proud of:
First, I sang the national anthem (twice!) this weekend at my brother's last home collegiate swim meet (fun fact, my brother and my sister were original Holy Worlders) as a surprise for him, and the it went well both times (although I never sing without finding something I think I could've done better lol). And second, my church had a thing tonight to spread awareness of missions, and I spoke about a mission trip I went on to Texas this summer (my youth group did hurricane relief work from damage caused by Hurricane Harvey). I had never given a speech before, but it went really well (even if I ended up only using maybe a quarter of the speech I wrote beforehand and took on stage with me and mostly just winged it, and went two minutes longer than I was supposed to haha) and, honestly, I thought it was super fun!
Ok wow that was long. Sorry guys! I've just had a crazy busy, and absolutely AMAZING week. I hope all of y'all's weeks were great as well and that, even if they weren't, you remembered to keep your eyes focused on Christ, who is the one who controls our situations and works everything for our good. :)

Sorry to have fallen off the face of the earth! Hopefully I will be all caught up on Holy Worlds in the next day or so. :D No, that is not one of my goals for this coming week, although that would be fun.

Alright, so now to my goals...

#1 Music practice 5 days this week - I don't know. o.O I know that I practiced at least three days, because I have been challenged (in a friendly sort of way) to learn a song on a set of bagpipes by mid-Febuary... I couldn't get the bag inflated one day, was able to get two of the drones tuned one day, and was able to get the chanter to play horribly out of tune with the drones the next... But other than that I have no idea.

#2 Focused writing time every day except Sunday - definitely no, but I did write more than one day! (I think... this is rather scary...) And today I actually felt like I accomplished something, even if it was just getting a POV switch deleted and the first half re-worked staying in the main POV.

Congratulations AnnewithanE!
...
Misread at first that you were writing a poem during a panic attack... Glad it was in the past, even though I feel for you on writing dredging up difficult emotions.
...
I'm glad you're alive! And that it went well!
...
That is a very fun fact!
...
 And when I read that, I felt like I was reading my draft, or something my main character had said! That was weirdly scary... but felt warm and familiar at the same time. :)

Thank you! Both for the congrats on making my goals and the interview thing (now here's hoping I'm able to take the job, as my dad isn't sure yet...)

About the panic attack confusion, I'm happy to say I was not writing it during one (I can't imagine doing anything other than trying to breath during one haha). It was about a panic I had when I was on my trip with my youth group a couple weekends ago, which made it even more of an extremely embarrassing (in my opinion, despite everyone trying to assure me it was fine) and stressful situation. I'm happy to say it ended okay though, even if I was (and still am) mad at myself for having one in the first place and not just being able to beat my fear.

And finally, your last comment: that is actually hilarious. I honestly don't even know what possessed me to add it into my comment, other than feeling like the Lord wanted me too. I will say it's not something my characters would ever say (sadly, I haven't been given the gift of creating interesting Christian characters, unlike you, based on what I've read of your writing)
