The CarillonBONG ... BONG ... BONG.
The deep, rich tones carried for miles across the valley and called the faithful to worship.
Ding-Dong. Ding-Ding-Dong.
The worshipers loved the melody created by the medium tones.
Ting-a-ling, ting-a-ling.
Sang the high sharp notes, too high a pitch for most of the older ears to still hear. Everyone enjoyed the carillon, but many wondered why the maker had bothered to create tones that none could hear.
The preacher preached and the parishioners listened and outside, a soft wind blew.
The wind was too soft to create a BONG.
The wind was too soft to create a Ding-Dong.
The wind created a faint Ting-a-ling, ting-a-ling that none could hear.
On the back row, a mother tried to settle her infant, when the infant heard the ting-a-ling, ting-a-ling ... and smiled, listening contently to the unheard song.
All the people wonder why the Maker created a carillon with notes that most people can’t hear ... does He know something that we don’t?
