Weekly Challenge #297: Describe a thunderstorm without using the sense of hearing.

Directions:
1. Post on the challenge thread, declaring the goals you have committed to. This must be done before midnight on Tuesday.
2. When you have finished your goals, post on the challenge thread again, stating what goals you have completed, how many times you have completed them, and whether any of them were combined.
3. At 10AM on Monday you are not allowed to report any more finished goals, and the challenge is over.

Rules:
1. You can repeat the weekly challenges, and get more points, but if you repeat your own personal goal, you will not get extra points.
2. The organizer has the right to veto any personal goal that seems too easy (i.e. writing a sentence).

Points:
You can earn points by:
1. completing the weekly challenge
2. repeating the weekly challenge
3. completing your personal goal
4. combining your personal goal and the weekly challenge

Just a personal habit; I set goals like that at the 3, 4, or 5 days in a week. That way if something comes up I'm not stressing; there's a margin for those unexpected alien invasions and dress shopping for the coronation that all too often arise.

True, though I'm not likely to have a coronation any time soon (I tend to prefer racing through the forest and dressing in garb to help me blend into it rather than attend those crowded gatherings and wear those cumbersome things) and alien invasions? I'm sure there are three hundred words somewhere that could describe that - if I can write, dodge, and survive at the same time. ;)

Stressing helps me actually get words on the page - I think. If I have to make a gap, I will take your advice and break that writer's rule in my head that I can't.

(That, and I wasn't counting Sunday in my 'every day' since this only goes from Monday to Saturday now, and Sunday is my day off [at least, I really try for it to be])
