Weekly Challenge #258: Participate in a WIP thread.

Directions:
1. Post on the challenge thread, declaring the goals you have committed to. This must be done before midnight on Monday.
2. When you have finished your goals, post on the challenge thread again, stating what goals you have completed, how many times you have completed them, and whether any of them were combined.
3. At midnight on Saturday you are not allowed to report any more finished goals, and the challenge is over.

Rules:
1. You can repeat the weekly challenges, and get more points, but if you repeat your own personal goal, you will not get extra points.
2. The organizer has the right to veto any personal goal that seems too easy (i.e. writing a sentence).

Points:
You can earn points in these ways:
1. completing the weekly challenge
2. repeating the weekly challenge
3. completing your personal goal
4. combining your personal goal and the weekly challenge

I'm unclear on this. While it works for me as I have a WIP already going, does that mean to meet the challenge everyone has to put up a WIP? While I added to atpollard's WIP it was only because I'm very familiar with the setting. "Very", in this case, means "working on it for over two years". When I started participating in "Character Interview: Princess Anika" it took most of the week to figure out an approach and get some e-mails back and forth.

This one could be a challenge. If someone wants to add to the "Ought Five and One Two Three" thread let me know. I can give you some setting and bounce ideas around with you. Only fair to offer since I've stuck my nose into other's worlds.

I would imagine 'participate' could include commenting on a WIP thread, or creating a new WIP thread or adding to an existing WIP thread.

Who knows, an imaginative individual might even come up with something else.

What atpollard said, mostly. Basically, comment on one of the threads in any the firesides in any genre. For example, Grace's in Sci-fi, Rachel's in Historical Fiction, or mine also in Historical Fiction once it's up.

My imagination seems to be suffering. I'll accept the weekly challenge on the assumption someone besides me might want to see how Dede gets along. Keeping the personal goals aside this week as a few things are likely to consume my energies.

Right now being jumped by the "blahs".

Personal and weekly challenges complete.

I'm not taking any changes this week. >.> I will still probably get Ch6 up later this week, though.

Weekly Challenge completed. And repeated. Wasn't sure I was going to help Dede along. Things transpired to allow more writing time.

Personal Goal Complete. My scenes were fun. Starting a business isn't so fun. I've still got blurb writing to do, but I've got all the bones settled.
