Personal goal #2: Finish my retelling of the Tortoise and the Hare
Does the Hare win?

... or Zeno:
*sigh* No, the Tortoise will win. It actually was an assignment I had that I am now lengthening for the fun of it. However, I was not allowed to change the meaning of the story (and thus the outcome). I am writing in first person though with the Hare as my main character. It has gotten quite interesting

. Maybe I will end up posting it IF I complete it

Weekly Challenge #257: Participate in a character interview thread on the forum.
Are all of you people seriously claiming to be SO BUSY, that you cannot attempt to make one post on one of the character interview threads this week?
Wow, that's pretty pathetic. I mean, this one rates up there with 'write a couplet' in terms of difficulty.

I can write about coupling but I figured that'd not go over well. I'm too young for that.
Oh,
couplet. Nevermind.

I just remember the Weekly challenge to write a couplet because I had to look up what a couplet was. I had to check several sources before I was confident that it could really be met by just writing two lines that rhyme.
"A couplet I must write,
hardly worth a fright."
... Challenge done.
"I don't know what to do,
So I'll stop and tie my shoe."
... Challenge repeated (badly).
This week ain't much harder. "Post on a character interview."
I did see it...and looked at an interview forum. My two oldest brothers are coming home from college tomorrow, I am the oldest in charge until then, and I am finishing up projects for a project fair on Thursday.
Alas! I didn't see your challenge until now! However, amidst the busyness I will try and find time to post on an interview thread even though I will not earn the points. Mine will most likely not be as lengthy as yours though
