One of these days I will sit down with you and have you walk my sad, little brain through this.

I just finished preparing the results for the second-to-last player for the current turn, and still haven't gotten even a draft from the last player, so this is a particularly good time to walk anyone who's interested in joining the campaign through the process. To perhaps pique your interest, here are some random facts about this campaign:

I think this sounds good but is something I have to avoid. I *know* how much time I could put into this and I'm already slacking on the book edits. |

Pity. (More seriously, a couple of other HWers over the years have asked me questions about the game, expressed great interest, then said much the same thing: not enough time. )

Understood. I used to do Civilization and would completely get lost in it. Got into a Play by Forum Diplomacy game and had headaches from hours spent musing over the options. If you really want to push the margins ask over at RPG.net. |

I know the phenomenon. Domici wrote: If you really want to push the margins ask over at RPG.net. I don't have time for another forum. Like you, I'm already behind on other priorities. |

If anyone's interested enough to eavesdrop on and possibly kibbitz in discussions around the game, if not to join the campaign, there's now a mailing list. And I still have hopes for finishing the current long-overdue turn this year, making this an excellent time for anyone who's interested in joining the campaign as a player to jump in. |

In addition to the mailing list, if anyone's interested in gradually learning more about Strategic Primer, there's now a blog devoted to the game. (As I write this the first post hasn't dropped yet, but it's scheduled to in about seven hours.) The vast majority of the content for the foreseeable future (posts scheduled to run about once a week more than a year in advance ...) will be revised and expanded versions of content that already appeared on my main blog, but any new content related to Strategic Primer will appear there, rather than on my main blog as in the past. |
