Here's the thread where you answer the last 'would you rather _____or_____' question (and any other questions you see that you want to answer), and then ask one yourself. Here's mine: do you like dwarves or elves better? |

Elves! Would you rather do five hours of school or wash two hours' worth of dishes? |
|

I'd rather do five hours of school. Would you rather go to Narnia or Middle Earth? |

Middle Earth! Would you rather meet Aragorn or Legolas? |

Aragorn! Would you rather learn swordsmanship or archery? |

Swordmanship. Would you rather write a 500-page novel or two 250-page novels? |

| Post subject: | Re: Either or game |
Ooo, hard question. I'd say option B. No, A. No, B. No...I can't decide. I'll just say B for the game's sake. Would you rather read a book with a happy ending, or a book with a bittersweet ending? |
|
| Author: | Elly [ February 9th, 2012, 2:25 pm ] |
| Post subject: | Re: Either or game |
Happy ending. Would you rather not use your favorite smiley in chat all day or use your least favorite smiley 10 times in chat? |
|
| Author: | RedWing the Purple [ February 9th, 2012, 2:33 pm ] |
| Post subject: | Re: Either or game |
Well, my favorite smiley is this one: But I regularly don't use it every day, because it only applies to certain situations. And I like all of the smileys. Would you rather get captured by a troll or a dragon? |
|
| Author: | DairyMaid [ February 9th, 2012, 9:23 pm ] |
| Post subject: | Re: Either or game |
Troll. I think a dragon would be more fierce. Would you rather be able to write great stories, or have an amazing voice for singing? |
|
| Author: | cephron [ February 10th, 2012, 6:58 am ] |
| Post subject: | Re: Either or game |
Sad to not be able to sing, but I'd have to go with write great stories! @Redwing: Dragon--I figure it would probably give me a quicker/cleaner end than a troll... @RunningWolf: Swordsmanship! Would you rather listen to metal or dubstep? (and would it be because you love it more, or just because the other one is more unbearable? Btw, if you've never heard dubstep, here's a decently light track. |
|
| Author: | RunningWolf [ February 10th, 2012, 11:17 am ] |
| Post subject: | Re: Either or game |
I agree about being caught by a dragon-rather be cooked than eaten alive and raw. I would listen to metal because I like it better-though I don't really listen to it much but I enjoy some songs that have metal influences. And my question is, would you rather have a centaur (one like in Narnia) or a faun (again, narnian) as a friend/companion on a quest? |
|
| Author: | Varon [ February 10th, 2012, 2:08 pm ] |
| Post subject: | Re: Either or game |
Faun, I think. Quote: Would you rather read a book with a happy ending, or a book with a bittersweet ending? Bittersweet, just saying. Would you prefer to visit the bottom of the ocean or Jupiter? |
|
| Author: | Aleena Mimetes [ February 10th, 2012, 3:28 pm ] |
| Post subject: | Re: Either or game |
Both are very cold and dark...But for the games sake, Jupiter. If you had to fall fifty feet, which would you prefer, landing on rocks or broken glass? |
|
| Author: | Manda Kondrael [ February 10th, 2012, 4:26 pm ] |
| Post subject: | Re: Either or game |
I'd be dead either way (unless I'm a Time Lord or similar alien race that can fall 50+ feet without being killed) but I think I'd pick the glass. If you had to give your life for another person's, would you rather that they know or not? |
|
| Author: | DairyMaid [ February 11th, 2012, 11:47 pm ] |
| Post subject: | Re: Either or game |
I'd rather them not know. Because otherwise, they'll live knowing that it was their fault that you died because you tried to save them. Would you rather read aloud a description and the object appear live before you, like in Inkheart, or would you rather read aloud the description of a place, and be transported to the place you read? By the way, good idea about making a new thread for this game... the 400! thread got way off topic! |
|
| Author: | RunningWolf [ February 12th, 2012, 12:35 am ] |
| Post subject: | Re: Either or game |
I'd rather the object appear, because then if I wanted to go somewhere, I could just ask for a portal to go there! Would you rather be running away from and fighting dragons or WereWolves? (dragons are sentient in this question, and werewolves are like the ones in my thread, they can change form anytime or be in wolfman form for all around clearer thinking and all around better senses and stuff). |

Um... dragons, I guess. Would you rather wear a kilt or a hot pink pair of pants? |
|
| Author: | cephron [ February 12th, 2012, 5:38 pm ] |
| Post subject: | Re: Either or game |
Kilt! I have one and have worn it on several occasions. My family on my mother's side has some Scot in it (Taylor clan), and a bunch of my relatives play bagpipes or do highland dancing. Would you rather never play, or play but always lose? |

Varon wrote: Would you prefer to visit the bottom of the ocean or Jupiter? Hmmm... let me think... BOTTOM OF THE OCEAN! cephron wrote: Would you rather never play, or play but always lose? Play but always lose because I'd at least have the fun of playing and the joy of seeing someone else win. Would you rather eat an entire thing of mayonnaise straight from the bottle for a year, or down a bowl of ice cream in 10 seconds? |

The ice cream. Would you rather jet-ski or fly a jet? |
|
| Author: | Captain Nemo Marlene [ February 12th, 2012, 8:47 pm ] |
| Post subject: | Re: Either or game |
That's hard... hmmm... I'd say jet-ski because it's easier than flying a jet and less complex. Would you rather have to break out into song like in a musical at least once every week for the rest of your life or have an arranged marriage to a random Disney princess/prince? |

Definitely the first one. Would you rather never read a book again or never write a word again? (Horrible choice, I know. |

Oh, wow, Red! Would you rather have a pegasus or a phoenix as a pet? |

Pegasus!! I've always wanted to ride a pegasus. If you had to use only all day or only , which would you rather use?

Definitely as I use it every day anyways.Hmmmmmmm.... Would you rather be duct taped to a wall for a day or super glued to the ceiling for a month? |

Uh, wow that's a tough one! Would you be freaked out or overjoyed if an animal talked to you (I mean, which of these reactions would win it in the end)? |

It would depend if it was demon possessed or if God was letting it talk. Would you rather write instruction manuals to build things or TV manuals on how to operate your television? |

Captain Nemo wrote: Would you rather write instruction manuals or TV manuals for the rest of your life? Probably TV manuals. That would be fun. Would you rather be stuck with writing obituaries or designing headstones for the rest of your life? I'd probably take the obituaries. |

Obituaries. Tomb stones are creepy. Would you rather watch Blues Clues (with Steve) or Little Bear? (Come on now, we all know you secretly watch these kid-show favorites!) |

BLUE'S CLUES! And only because Steve is awesome. Would you rather spend the night in a cemetery alone or spend a night in an abandoned mine alone? |

Abandoned mine. *nod nod* Would you rather be kidnapped and trapped on my submarine forever, or kidnapped and trapped in a space station forever? |

Space station. Math or science? |

Awwww. Hmmm... Depends on the type of math and science. Geometry, I guess... Would you rather drink a gallon of water or a teaspoon of hot chocolate? |

Hot chocolate! Would you rather go to school for a day or be homeschooled for a day? |

Be homeschooled for the day. Would you rather listen to an hour of music at home, or go for an hour long walk outside? |

Varon wrote: Math or science? Difficult one! It's kinda like asking "wheels or cars?", lol. Without math, science would be a lot less powerful, but science makes math a whole lot more useful. I guess I'd go math, though. @Lady Elanor: Hour long walk, for sure! Would you rather have an amazing marriage or achieve your dream? |
|
| Author: | Lady Elanor [ February 13th, 2012, 2:12 pm ] |
| Post subject: | Re: Either or game |
Amazing Marriage, I think. Surely that is achieving a dream at the same time. Would you rather go for a day on a shopping spree, or spend a day working. |
|

They're both the same to me, except working gets me money and shopping takes my money. |

Lord of the Rings. Two hours in a dungeon (complete with slime, mold, rats and other gross things), or two days without food? |

Two hours in a dungeon! Life without internet, or life where robots rule the earth? |

Robots. XD Hardy Boys or Nancy Drew? |

| Post subject: | Re: Either or game |
Oooooh... toughy... I've only read the Nancy Drew books, and I rather the Nancy Drew computer games, but I prefer Hardy Boys in the 1970s TV series. That question was too broad, I think. Would you rather watch a Shakespearean comedy or tragedy? |

Tragedy, I suppose. Do you prefer Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox? |

Listen. Jonathan Swift, I know that name, but I can't place it. What did he write? Would you rather write a science-fantasy story or a space western? |
