MadeFree92 - This is my first voyage, quite and interesting ship so far.

Captain Nemo - No, no sonar station. I have a powerful beam of light of my own invention that actually allows us to see much further than you would expect. And the windows are made specially as to not obstruct the view. Everything you see is actually proportionate and at the distance you see it at.

Captain Nemo - Now that we are underway, I shall let my first mate take over and I will show you around the rest of the ship.

cephron - Ah. Forgive me for underestimating your formidable ship. By all means, let me know if I can do something useful.

Captain Nemo - Of course!

MadeFree92 - How long will it take to get there?

Captain Nemo - First and foremost, I will have you both, Cephron and MadeFree, know that you are to never attempt to take control of this ship. It has taken me years to build it, and only I alone know how to control the ship completely. And, if you ever attempt to take over, I will also have you know that I always carry on my person the means to destroy this ship at a moments notice should it ever fall into the wrong hands.

Captain Nemo - Go right ahead, Azlyn. You already know your way around.

Captain Nemo - Hmm... I'd say 5 minutes, MadeFree.

Captain Nemo - Here we keep stores of food gathered from the ocean. I have my own gardens and hunting grounds beneath the waves. I found that many of the surface plants adapt to growing underwater quite well, and actually flourish even better.

Captain Nemo - Kind of like hydroponic growing.

Captain Nemo - The galley isn't anything particularly of great interest, except maybe to a cook. It is where we prepare all of our meals. *takes a spiral staircase to the deck below*

cephron - Mm, is the vessel self-sustaining for a skeleton crew?

Captain Nemo - A skeleton crew? What do you mean by that, sir?

AzlynRose - They do eat quite well here, Ceph.

cephron - The minimum crew required for the vessel to function completely.

Captain Nemo - Here, I've already shown you, are where my crew mates and guests have their quarters.

Captain Nemo - oh, it is self sustaining for double a skeleton crew and several guests.

Captain Nemo - My skeleton crew consists of seventy-five persons.

cephron - Impressive! What is the power source?...actually, if my questions detract from the mission, nevermind.

MadeFree92 - How many do you normally have?

Captain Nemo - On the other side of this deck you will find my garden and animals. I have quite a large variety of plants here.

Captain Nemo - These are the plants that do not fair so well under water.

AzlynRose - Wow, that'd be why there are so many crew mates around.

Captain Nemo - No, not at all! I love answering questions.

Emmalina Cedar - I'm back for a bit.

Captain Nemo - We use a combination of multiple power sources. We use solar power, hydro-electricity, a bit of nuclear power, and a few other sources.

Captain Nemo - Now, to this side *points left* We have the power rooms. We keep our air supply in this area as well as our means of power. We have several tanks pumping air to all of the rooms of the Nautilus. We generally have enough air to last us three or four days.

Captain Nemo - Just follow me for now, Emma.

cephron - @MadeFree: that could be taken a couple of ways. *amusement*

Emmalina Cedar - Okay. *follows Nemo*

Captain Nemo - And to the other side we have the dining room, library, and Salon.

MadeFree92 - @Cephron: Well, she thought I was a girl, so I think it all evens out in the end.

Captain Nemo - Oh, and of course! I forgot to mention the air lock! It's on the first deck near the supply rooms. Three people can enter at a time.

Emmalina Cedar - Do you have animals in here?

cephron - @MadeFree: good, good. I'm gonna catch up and pay attention to the tour again...

Captain Nemo - *nods at Made Free*

Captain Nemo - Yes! I have two cows, two goats, and two sheep. They're in my garden/park room.

Captain Nemo - And of course... *pulls a lever and a wall in the Salon opens revealing a window* I have all the pet fish I could want.

Captain Nemo - I did once have a pet seal.

If we're really early, Sauron may actually be in Mirkwood still. But I think with the Nazgul out and about, I would guess the War of the Ring is about to start. We might sail down to the Anduin and that'll take us pretty close to Mordor.
