I think Narnia...I especially like Aslan, as well as the creatures that live there and the countryside. :D

Would you rather reread a book you know you love (that you haven't read for, like, a few years), or try out a new book when you have no idea whether you'll love it or hate it?

Reread an old book. :D

Would you rather watch a TV show or a movie?

Leprechauns For The Win.

Would you rather have a functioning TARDIS or $1,000,000,000,000?

In real life? I'd take the money. Not sure how to use a TARDIS to advance the kingdom. :?

Would you rather have transportation technology ("Beam me up, Scotty!") or FTL (faster-than-light) technology, like warp drive?

Faster than light technology. When they try to beam a group up they always miss a red shirt! ;) Would you rather get attacked by Reavers like in Firefly/Serenity or The Borg like Star Trek?

Friendly dragon! I love friendly dragons.

Hmmm...
Would you rather go without sleep for 24 hours, or wear uncomfortable shoes for 24 hours?

I'd rather go without sleep, I've done it before. Would you rather swim in the cold, Canadian Pacific in winter or sit in a sauna in a hot summer?

The sauna, as long as I didn't have to stay in there very long.

Would you rather go to jail and be loved by all your friends, or stay free and be shunned by them?

Wow, that's a good one. I think I'd rather lose facebook. I survived on email for many years before getting facebook. Youtube, for all its failings, is a very reliable video host--and who knows how effective its replacement would be?

Hm... well, we had a skateboard once, but I always fell off it, and I haven't tried a snowboard, and it looks like it would be difficult to ride, so I'll go skateboard. :D :P

CD, I think. (Probably just because I don't have a good cassette player.)

Rich. To be famous for literally no reason sounds like a weird and potentially dangerous situation.

Would you rather be famous and hated by the world, or completely unknown, because you did the right thing?

I'd rather be unknown. I wouldn't want to be famous anyway! Haha! I got this from looking at the smileys on the side! Would you rather be angry ( ) , or embarrassed ( )?

Stay awake. It's not that bad. ;)

Would you rather write an essay on your favorite subject or play a sport of which you're not so fond?

Write an essay.

Would you rather sleep for 150 years, while maintaining your same age, or sleep for 1000 years and face sci-fi technology?

As all my friends and family would be dead in either time, I'd rather face sci-fi tech! Would you rather swim across the English Channel, or canoe across the Great Lakes?

@Wolf: Super Mario all the way!

Would you rather live in a world that was all mountains or all flat?

All flat would get a bit boring, in my opinion. I'll go mountains. :D

Would you rather die a hero or live a villain?*

Steve!

What's your favorite of these Bible heroes: David (later King), Joseph, or Daniel? (I know there are way too many to list here, if there are any you missed, mention them in a question!...if you want to. :dieshappy: )

Would you rather live in a space station or an undersea habitat?

Edit 2: @Wolf: I think I'd go with paper, simply because it's easier to recycle, and I feel like I'd be done with the plane rather quickly.

Would you rather lose HW or Google for a week?

Ooh, hard one! Chocolate, though, I think I'd have to go for. :)

Would you rather have a prayer meeting for an hour, or study a section of the bible for an hour?

Probably study a section of the Bible...I have trouble focusing on prayer for long periods of time (God's working on that, though).

Would you rather eat ketchup on potato chips or a peanut butter and banana sandwich?

@Snail Vs. Frog-leg question: I already tried snails and LOVE THEM! I just haven't gotten to try frog legs yet... So, I suppose both? :D

@Post before mine: Ew... um... ketchup on potato chips...

Would you rather be Ritchy on the Dick van Dyke Show, or Sally?

Um... I don't know. I've never seen the Dick Van Dyke show before.

Would you rather live with the hard and cold truth and live a bitter life because of it, or live a happy life without knowing the truth?

"It is called 'passive righteousness' because we do not have to labor for it..It is not righteousness that we work for, but righteousness we receive by faith. This passive righteousness is a mystery that someone who does not know Jesus cannot understand. In fact, Christians do not completely understand it and rarely take advantage of it in their daily lives..When there is any fear or our conscience is bothered, it is a sign that our 'passive' righteousness is out of sight and Christ is hidden.
The person who wander away from 'passive' righteousness has no other choice but to live by 'works' righteousness. If he does not depend on the work of Christ, he must depend on his own work.So we must teach and continually repeat the truth of this 'passive' or 'Christian' righteousness so that Christians continue to hold to it and never confuse it with 'works' righteousness - Martin Luther

OUCH, that's a hard one and touches on deep philosophical/theological areas. D:

I think it would depend upon the exact nature of the cold, hard truth. If it's a nihilistic sort of truth, there is literally zero value in knowing it. In a nihilistic universe, there's no reason to prefer truth to untruth, so I'd probably live an epicurean sort of life; a comforting lie would be preferable to truth.

If there were any value to knowing this truth--even be it cold and hard--I'd rather know it than not.

Would you rather be constrained to always doing (as in whenever it needs doing) manual labor such as cooking and cleaning, or be constrained to never doing it?

Probably to never doing it, because otherwise I wouldn't be able to do much else...the problem is then I wouldn't be able to help out sometimes...
