As an add-on to this post, I thought it would be nice to have a thread where people can critique your loglines. I'll admit I never used to create loglines for my film projects but it definitely helps. :)

So enough talk, here's the current logline to my latest project.

A wanna-be knight sets out to rescue his sister. When he meets the legendary Robin Hood along the way, he soon learns what it really takes to earn his shining armour.

So, any thoughts? Feel free to break it to bits. :D

I look forward to seeing what y'all have to put up. :)

I like it, though I think two things would make it better: 1. Mention who the knight will be rescuing his sister from. 2. Turn the logline into a single sentence, like this:

Loglines are vital! Don't get me started... unless the rant would be helpful to some of you. I'll share mine next time I have a new project. (I'll need to redo the logline for Peter's Angel eventually anyway.)

(The Watchtower is mainly for reviews of existing films, however, so I moved this to the Forge.)
