Greetings, all!

Some of you may know me as Jordan Wright, my account name on therebelution.forums. I generally go by Neil, or Neil of Erk, everywhere else.

Welcome, Jordan/Neil. I like the name Jordan. Very cool. Is Erk your fantasy land?

And let me guess: you're homeschooled.

Finally, I'm Hanah, aka Liagiba, aka Lia, aka the crazy nut who posts too much. Nice to meet you, Neil.

Erk is indeed 'my' fantasy land. Why 'my'? Lets just say that it's changed hands a couple times.

I'm home-schooled! Are you?

Nice to meet both of you!

What is Erk? Ah, another homeschooler. So I thought. What is it with Christian homeschooled fantasy writers? Nice to meet you too.

Erk is the chief empire of a large continent (capital 'e') , but also refers to the planet its self(lower case 'e') . This stems from an Elven belief that Erk is the favorite kingdom of the Lord, and will one day rule the entire erk. In this sense, earth-when referring to the planet-is synonyms with erk. (Again, only when referring to the planet.)

I have no idea! It must be part of our culture or something...

Awesome! Another homeschooler!

Yeah, Christian homeschool fantasy writers seem popular :P :)

Hey, if you're going to be crazy, why not do it right?

Exactly what I and all my home-educated friends say!

Example:

Person: "Your crazy!"

Me: "Thank you!"

Person: "Uh, what?"

Friend: "We like being crazy."

I've had that conversation!!! Or the intelligence conversation:

Person: Are you like super smart or something?
Me: Depends who you ask.
*me and my wacky best friend crack up laughing*
Person: Don't think I'm weird.
Me: Ha ha, never.
Person: *under his breath* You're wacked.

Well, this appears to be a tiny bit late, but WELCOME! It's awesome to meet you! I'm Mindy E. same as over on the Rebelution Forum, and I have this weird habit of winking at everybody.;)

Have you read any of Tolkien's works?

Welcome, Neil/Jordan!

It's great to have yet another crazy Christian homeschooled writer on here! :D

We all see to be quite proud of our weirdness on this forum. Haha.

It's fantastic ( ;) ) to meet so many fellows! I'll have to suggest this place to all my weird friends.

I have read nearly all of Tolkien's works. I think the only one that I haven't read is translation of Sir Gwain and the Green Knight. The Unfinished Tales, The Silmarillion, Lord of the Rings -to name a few- and several of Christopher Tolkien's Histories have all served to spark my fantasy passion!

However, I don't read them anymore. Don't ask, you probably don't want to know.

I'll probably ask anyway :P

I didn't read The Unfinished Tales or any of the HoME books, because surprisingly I'm not "addicted" enough to spend time reading history books for a made-up world (I'm not much on reading history about this earth most of the time :P).
