I wish I could quote the entire duel between the Man in Black and Inigo, but I don't remember all of it. So I shall quote my favorite two pieces, then try to drag myself from this thread.

Sorry! I haven't watched it in... ages. Not for a couple of months, I think. And I got most of them right, just wording off, if you're correct! Except the one I said I didn't know.

Yeah we're watching it now, and I was way off on that one. I updated the poll so re-vote.

I should watch it today too, if I have time.

Our only copy is on VHS and our VCR bit the dust years and years ago, so it's been consigned to abandoned bins with the rest of the movies we don't own on DVD....

But there was a time when me and my brother could pull off the entire duel on the cliff, except for the argument over who got to be the man in black.

I feel like buying it for you... and that's insane, because I barely know you. :P ( well, more like don't know you well, there was the whole waffle thing...)

As in the dialogue or the moves? It would be a cool swordfight to replicate. I should see if my brother and I can do it sometime...

Both! We weren't real good on the actual sword fight, partly because we don't have any cliffs of insanity, but we'd try!

My sister actually hates that movie. and she's not the only one I know who thinks it's the stupidest thing ever made and can't understand why we all like it so much. But she even has her favorite part: where the miracle man's wife is chasing him around with his fingers in his ears going: "Humperdink, Humperdink, Humperdink!"

I can't think of anything else to quote... it's been way too long since I've seen that movie....

That movie is amazing. And so is the book, though it's the kind of movie that's so good people forget about the book.

Oh! I really like this movie, though I will say that I have not read the book.
My favorite part was what Celearas quoted:

I love that quote too, though I can never seem to get it right! Hence I don't quote it much. :P I like the yelling ("Stand your ground!") that you can hear in the background.

I swear, in the bedroom scene with Miraz when Caspian is all cry-ee and "Did you kill my father?" I saw Inigo. Well, maybe not. Inigo was much cooler than movie!Spanish!Not-blond!Caspian.

I thought the exact same thing! Ben Barnes was actually told to model his accent after Inigo Montoya's. (He's really got a British accent.) Insane. :P

I've always heard 'slaughtered' with more of a tough g.

The Princess Bride is my most favorite movie of all time! I watched it last weekend! I used to watch it every week at the house my mom had a Bible study at, so my brother and I would set it up and play it.

I didn't know there was a book! Have to look into that one. I thought the movie was hilarious. Inconceivable is by far the best word in the movie!

I like this scene where the grandpa is reading the story to the boy:

Grandpa: "She doesn't get eaten by the eels at this time."
Boy: "What?"
Grandpa: "The eel doesn't get her. I'm explaining this to you because you look nervous."
Boy: *looks down at clenched fists* "Oh...I wasn't nervous."
*Grandpa raises an eyebrow*
Boy: "Well, maybe I was a little bit...concerned, but that's not the same thing."
