I was walking with a friend the other day, and they asked me about my current fantasy novel that I'm working on. However upon trying to discuss it with them, they started laughing at my brief explanation. Apparently they don't care much for things that cannot really happen.

Anyway, it reminded me why I love this place so much. I love that I can chatter to you guys about my ideas, or story plots, or unusual characters (whether elves, mermaids, dwarves or other) and be viewed as a perfectly sane person, rather than as totally off my rocker.

I guess I just wanted to say how much I appreciate being able to hang out here with other creative people, discussing things that take more than a spoonful of imagination - rather than completely realistic. ;)

That would be discouraging. I'm glad we could help you out here, though. :)

It's great to be able to discuss speculative writing with other Christians, too.

Hear hear. :D Where else would you find people begging for a story about how Santa Claus protects the world from hordes of Greek vampires?

Yes I agree. When I walked into Realm Makers I felt "home" just like I do here. Its wonderful to be with people who are called to write and share what passions we have. :) love you Lady Eleanor and the rest of you.
