Was there a specific time in your life that made you pick up that pen, and begin writing? What happened to make you want to be a writer?

Sort of, yeah.

I had never considered writing fiction. The idea was preposterous. But one day a friend at work asked me for some thoughts on a chapter he'd been working on, so I gave it a read and told him. He said, "You should try writing. You might be good at it."

My initial response was incredulity. Of course I hadn't tried it. But I decided to give it a shot, and somehow have never quit since then.

My friend in high school was a writer. I had world-building ideas, but no where to put them. She would bounce ideas off of me and pick my brain about things and it began to cultivate Birthright in my head. From there, the floodgates of storydom opened and now I have more stories than I can handle, and no way to escape. :D

There's seriously no way I was referring to you. Honest.
