I've decided I must take a break from Holy Worlds for a time. My reasons are personal, and ones that I would rather not disclose. I've no set-in-stone idea of how long I'll be away. Perhaps simply a few days, perhaps longer. I'll try to remember - as Calenmiriel asked of us - to update it from time to time in order to let her know whether to archive it or not.

I hope all goes well during my absence, and that life treats you kindly.

I'm back indefinitely; I'm no sure whether I'm going to take my leave again or not, as the reasons I mentioned for leaving are still quite present. Right now, I'm just a little better equipped emotionally to handle them. So for now, I'm back, at any rate.

Leonard Nimoy passed away today, as I'm sure everyone knows. Even though I didn't know him personally, he was a huge part of my life and someone I looked up to a whole lot. Losing him feels like losing a family member (and kind of is, I guess, as he gave his fans permission to adopt him as an 'honorary grandfather' if they wanted to, and I did), and I'm taking it really hard.

As such, I'm again temporarily leaving. My emotions are on the rampage after this, and I don't want to risk being a jerk to anyone - with or without realising it. Hurting others on accident is no way to deal with my own hurt, but I'm such a mess I'm going to end up doing so if I don't remove myself from the presence of others.

I love you guys, and I'll be back as soon as the grief subsides a bit.

I've been dropping on and off of Holy Worlds for a few weeks, but felt I ought to leave one last update rather than leave the few people who keep up with this post hanging:

I'm taking a long break from Holy Worlds. One of my older brothers suggested I do so, for a variety of reasons (if you absolutely have to know, ask me and I may explain), and I think it's a good idea. If anyone really wants to contact me, feel free to hunt me down on Facebook or Gmail. I'm pretty sure most of you have my contact information anyhow.

I won't be in chat and I won't be posting. I'll still be hanging out on social media. Just not here.
