One of my ongoing projects is collecting a list of movies and TV that deal with depression, suicide, anxiety, and similar issues. Eventually I'd like to use the material in a book or a conference panel--but for starters I need more examples. I was inspired to start putting this together after realizing that both Frozen and Inside Out were very gorgeous cinematic representations of depression an anxiety. I wish I'd had Inside Out to show people when I was struggling; I feel like it helps explain what was going on in my head, and I would have loved to show it to people as a way of explanation and a conversation piece.

I think films like this can be useful in "creating dialog" as they say--but there has to be more. What films have you seen that spoke to you on the subject of depression, etc.? TV suggestions are welcome too, but please be clear if the whole TV series deals with the topic, or if it's just certain characters/plotlines/episodes.

(First thing that comes to mind is actually a book called Breadcrumbs, by Anne Ursu, which is another retelling of the Snow Queen, more or less)

As far as movies I've seen myself...
Frozen
Inside Out
It's a Wonderful Life

Then there are these, but I don't know most of them and they may be terrible movies. XD

TV episodes:
Doctor Who's "Vincent and the Doctor" is beauutiiffulll
I know there are some episodes of Monk that deal with the more serious sides of his anxiety, but I don't know them by name. :P
And a lot of people talk about ongoing arcs in Six Feet Under, but again, I've not seen it to recommend it personally.

One that comes to mind is "Love's Abiding Joy", the movie inspired by the book of Janette Oke's. It describes depression pretty well when it comes to lack of feeling.
