And amazingly sad. I have not read it in a while, but I do not think I will ever forget the part about Beleg when he saved Turin from the orcs, and then... Turin... yeah. :| It's a painful story. And amazing. Sorry for the outburst. It's just that the Children of Hurin is my favorite book ever and it's also what got me into writing. Yes, I know how you mean. I've technically been writing fantasy since I was around six or something, but I only became serious around five years ago.
