Who are your favorite authors?

What are you working on writing at the moment?

I have about a dozen more story ideas that I haven't even started writing yet.

When I try to write a novel, I usually seem to 1) know just what's supposed to happen at the beginning and end of the book, but not have any ideas for the middle, and 2) get caught up in worldbuilding and do more of that than actual writing.

I've been trying to write the story of Coltard, a young man who joins the army of the Navlins (basically my elf-analogue) to help in their fight against their enemy, an evil serpent. I have about a dozen more story ideas that I haven't even started writing yet.

I look forward to spending time on this forum.

Hello all! I'm Irtor. I read and (try to) write fantasy and science fiction. (I read a number of other genres too, but my writing attempts are limited to speculative genres.) I look forward to spending time on this forum.

Your story sounds great! And about worldbuilding and plot building, your not alone there.
