Hello,

I have been looking, for quite a while, for a Christian fantasy/sci fi forum that supports the genre. I have been reading secular fantasy/sci fi for a majority of my life glazing over the parts that did not agree with my faith. I have imagine how I would change the stories without changing the adventure. I have come up with a ton of stories, that are swirling around in my head, and have blended a few of them to create a universe, or alternate world if you will.

My problem is not my imagination, but the lack of writing experience. Until I become more comfortable with the community I am going to be playing things close to the vest. As my thoughts coalesce into chapters I plan to tease the community with the content and further discuss my ideas and themes.

I am hoping to find at least one mature writer who would consider co authoring a series with me. My series would be closer related to what J.R.R. Tolkien has written in that the adventure takes priority, but has a foundation built around GOD. I would like to reach fantasy readers who are not only christian, but also those who follow other faiths or no faith at all. The adventures would teach morals and GOD's truths without shoving religion down anyone's throat. Readers seem to be more open to hidden truths than frontal assaults. Mostly though, I want to provide a venue for Christians to read fantasy without having to glaze over things that go against their faith.

If anyone with experience in writing would like to take on this challenge then please introduce yourself so that we can become more acquainted.

We have a few people on here who are currently co-authoring together.

We were talking about this recently in a thread - building on a Christian worldview without the book having to be blatantly a 'Christian novel', so to speak.
