We, (eruheran and I) are both going to be in Samarkand for a day, not sure if that really requires a post. Anyway, we'll be gone tomorrow.

Second largest city in Uzbekistan.

Yes, second largest, and by far the prettiest, and possibly the most famous city, maybe behind Tashkent and Khiva. Have you ever heard of the Registon? It's an amazing place with huge buildings that have amazing onion-domes. If you've never been there, I'm not surprised. But anyways, go there.
