People ask the inevitable question, so what do you do? Your reply is - I'm a writer. What are the craziest responses and questions you are asked when you give this reply?

The most popular one I hear at the moment when my Mother does book signings and etc is, Wow, you'll be the next J.K Rowling. It never fails to freak one out - er, no I didn't say that. Being a writer doesn't immediately mean you are going to be famous. Not because it's anything like an insult of course, but if you compare the writing of your first novel/book to that of J.K Rowling, it does freak one out a little.

'Do you want to use what I did last Saturday in one of your stories?' – a mother friend of our family's

All right, so what she did last Saturday was a bit out of the ordinary, but it was still funny that she asked.... :D

o.O

I'd want to respond (but I know I wouldn't) with, "Well, that's what they probably thought about Jane Austen." :D

I've been asked about that one :P

Someone got really surprised that I was writing a Christian book and they knew I was a Christian :0

I can't think of any right now, but I'm always being asked, "So am I in your story?"

Uh... no. Probably not. Why does everyone ask? XD

Because once you put a person in your book, they are immortal! And they all want to be immortal. ;) XD

I personally put people in my book whether or not they want to be in it.

Right now I have friends that are dying to read it.

My family gives me that weird look...."ohhhhh" they say.

when I tell its LIKE a Narnian story, people like Narnia and tell me, that sounds interesting, let me know when its done.

I too put people from this world in my story, my younger brother is a character in this story, he asks.. "What do I do?"
and I tell him "Well you ride a Griffin, you fight bad guys, and you help defeat the king."
his response "OH COOL!!!!"

My parents have always liked my stories, even though this one is a little off the wall for me ;) :dieshappy:

**Coughs** no offense my holy worlders, this story is different compared to what I usually write ;) BUT ITS FUN!!! :dieshappy:
