I have been working on a novel. I've popped in here periodically and learned from you all, especially if I was stumped. I received some great feedback that sent me back to replotting the story. In the process, I stumbled across a submission request for an anthology. I took a break from the process of rewriting and plotted and wrote a short story, submitted it to the anthology and was accepted! I just signed the contracts. My short, Preacher Con, will be published in Gothic City Press' anthology, Con(viction) 2. http://www.gothiccitypress.com/ I also want to pass the good word along. They have extended their submission time, so they are open for stories about speculative fiction conventions. You may want to check out their submission guidelines at the link above.
