Hail and well met by ... sunlight, members of Holy Worlds! I'm Lady Meriwen (but you can dispense with the formality and call me Meri); I was introduced to this site by Melody Kondrael and I'm looking forward to exploring it.
Basically, I love to read. And write. Though lately I've been focusing more on historical fiction, I do write a good deal of fantasy--mostly short stories and my own trilogy-in-the-making. My name is Elvish, by the way, which means I'm an LotR fan. Which doesn't mean that I constantly crib from LotR in my writing.
I'm quite wary of that, actually. Fanfiction for The Silmarillion, though ... that's another thing altogether!I'm also a Christian and homeschooled, but I don't like the stereotype that usually comes with those words. So think more along the lines of "a loyal subject and friend of Jesus" and "a self-taught life learner". ^.^
