Y'know Bushy's thread, Tommy Emmanuel Music Matches? It's awesome. I was looking at it recently and realised we should have a general thread where everyone gets a chance to post songs that remind them of other HWers. :D

For example:
Whenever I think of Bushy, I think of "Land Down Under" by Men at Work, since she lives in the land down under. ;)

Hahaha! That's great, Elly!! That song always reminds of Australia, therefore Bushmaid, because I listened to it on repeat a week before we visited. (Sadly, that did not include a visit to Bushmaid's neck of the woods). :(

*thinks* "In Your Eyes" by Peter Gabriel reminds me of you, Renna, 'cause you like some of his songs.

I think Eye in the Sky by the Alan Parsons Project reminds me of Caeli. Not really for the lyrics ( I don't think she can read minds ;) ), but the pretty melody reminds me of her. :D

Nearly any song by Shaun Cassidy reminds me of Nemo. Mainly That's Rock and Roll. :D

Most David Cassidy songs remind me of you, Elly. :D We chatted about his songs quite a bit in the chat room, and now whenever he comes up I think of you. :)

Awwww. :D I don't really have a particular song for anyone off the top of my head... I'll have to get back on that. But I agree with Elanor. I think the Partridge Family generally reminds me of you, Elly.

I first showed it to you once, a long time ago, and you first introduced me to "This is the Stuff". :D

You're beautiful too! :D ;) (Oh, silly Calypso. Can you guess why it would? ;) I like your version better too, by the way. :halo:) I'm glad you like it! I was pretty much raised on Enya; she's a great singer. :)

Love you too, dearie. <3

More songs that remind me of people:

May It Be - Enya reminds me of a lot of HW-ers: Shorty, SilverIllusion, Idril, Mopa/Blayne, and Inkling Writer (I think that's her username). That's 'cause I've got a recording of Shorty and Silver singing May It Be, and I also have a recording of Idril, Mopa, and Inkling (and their other sister) singing it. ^_^

Seven Tears - Goombay Dance Band and You Are My Sunshine - Johnny Cash (except the video I linked to is not Johnny Cash's version) remind me of Legatus Christo, 'cause he quotes the lyrics of both of these sometimes. *grins*

Fin - Anberlin reminds me of Jakorosin, 'cause he introduced me to Anberlin's music, and I think once or twice we quoted the lyrics to this song on Skype. :D

Alligator Sky - Owl City (feat. Shawn Chrystopher) reminds me of Mopa and Jessie, 'cause once the three of us basically sang Alligator Sky in text chat on Skype. *grins*

I guess I should check for people mentioning my name more often. Thank you, Elly. *is listening to song* That's sweet of you. Yeah, I'm not much of a mind reader. XD

Resurrecting this thread. ;) The Piano Guys often remind me of Slash. ;) Anything by Andrew Peterson reminds me of Shawnie and Andrew, anything by Petra reminds me of Mark. :D "Still Alive" from Portal reminds me of Brendan, as does asdf's "Magical Pony" interlude. "He is With Us" by Love and the Outcome reminds me of Jonathan, and Shine Bright Baby music reminds me of Lady Nicole. :D
