Dear Friends and Brothers, (and sisters)
For quite some time now, secularists have dominated the fields of media, bringing to life their ideas and worldviews. (Filmmaking, Music, Photography, Painting, writing and etc.) They have perfected their craft, making what some call masterpieces. Although there may be elements of good things and morals portrayed in their media, I believe that they pass on worldviews and other ideas that are quite contrary to biblical standards. They (emphasized) have defined the standards we now accept, and that to me is a problem.
Although I may be but a shrimp in the eyes of others who have fought against these incorrect worldviews longer, I too have been led to begin fighting these by utilizing the resources around me to produce media that is glorifying to God, and more so, media that defines standards that are indeed biblical.
I am pleased to introduce the CrossroadMedia website to you. We have just released this new website, in the hopes of being able to bring together Christian artists together for the building up of the body, by the sharing and developing of our media. I believe this is a great opportunity for the body of Christ to learn to work together while we grow in our experience of story-telling.
