| Hello everyone. I'm not the best with starting an intro thread, but here it goes... My name is Lightwalker. I love Christian fantasy and I try to collect as many series as I can of the genre. Writing is another passion of mine. I've been writing stories since I was little, but it wasn't until 2011 that I started developing a serious story for publishing. My dream has always been to have some of my work published, and this year, I finished work on the second draft of my novel and am now in the process of editing it. With God's help I should be able to get everything done so I can self-publish. I originally discovered this forum a year or so back, but I never joined because I was scared of accidentally breaking any rules and getting banned. After gaining a little more experience on a couple other forums, I decided I would finally join this one since it's not only a Christian site, but also for fantasy writers. So here I am now, and I just want to say that if I do make any mistakes, please bear with me until I find my way around. I look forward to meeting all of you and enjoying this forum. Sincerely, Lightwalker | |

| Thank you! I only have three so far that I really like. Bryan Davis, Wayne Thomas Batson, and L.B. Graham are my favorites. I enjoy Karen Hancock's writing, but I only have one series by her. Oh, and John White. He wrote the Archives of Anthropos and that is one of my favorite series. I've got several series by other Christian authors, but the ones listed above are my favorite. Which ones are yours? | |

| I feel a little new still to be welcoming people, but I welcome you all the same. I look forward to hearing more about the book. Feel free to PM me if you want to share a post or something with me. I love talking about almost anything, and one of my favorite things to do is brainstorm with people as they develop their stories, characters, and such. So, yeah... I hope to see you around soon. | |

| Jonathan Garner wrote: My favorite authors are Frank Peretti, J. R. R. Tolkien, and C. S. Lewis. Is your book the first in a series? Those authors are pretty good. I only have one book by Frank Peretti called the Oath and I liked that one. Yes, it is the first in a trilogy. I have a fair idea of the plot for the second book but the third I need to work on a little. Arias Mimetes wrote: Welcome to Holy Worlds! Thank you, Arias! What is your book about? *Is a fan of Bryan Davis' writing* *shakes hand* Thanks, ZA. My book is mainly about a man forced to be an assassin to a sorcerer, and who has no knowledge of who he is, or why he has special abilities that make different from other men. Unless he discovers who he really is, the land could be destroyed by an ancient evil. The main theme of the book is that we're never beyond redemption even though we may think we're lost so I try to show that in my novel. When I have time, I might post some on here to find out what you guys think about it. *happy to see another Bryan Davis fan* Aratrea wrote: I've read both Davis and Batson. Rebekah wrote: Welcome! How exciting about your book! How soon are you hoping to publish? Thank you! I'm hoping to get my book published no later than June so I'm working very hard on the editing. If I can, I would like to get it published this spring but we'll see. | |

I have to ask this: who is your favorite character in the series?

It was an enjoyable read and the author did a good job writing it. I've read the series like four or five times. The first two books I read more than that because I got those first before the rest. The series is a favorite of mine and no matter how many times I read it, I never get bored with it.
