I feel like I want everything I do to glorify Him and draw me closer, not be a distraction, which my writing was becoming without having Him in its center. So, I was super excited to find this forum. : D

I can't wait to see you around here! A good way to get to know people is to get on the chat room (the button for it is at the top of the site ).

I found Holy Worlds from googling "christian fantasy writers forum" or something along those lines, and after spending hours reading through various topics thought I better join!

Chat Rooms always intimidate me, I'm so shy. xDD Although, the forum I used to frequent(now dead) had a pretty sweet one, so I should probably just get over myself and head over, huh? xD

Xoffelokin= Zawf-el-oh-kin. It used to be when ever I joined a forum I would have a contest for everyone to try and pronounce it. xD

Hello~! My names Xoffelokin, or Xoffelocin, or Xoffy, or just Nicole. : ) (This is the first time I have a "k" instead of a "c" in my username, so bear with me if I spell my own name wrong at times!) I found Holy Worlds from googling "christian fantasy writers forum" or something along those lines, and after spending hours reading through various topics, I thought I better join! I consider myself a relatively new Christian, having given asked Him into my heart almost a year ago now (has it been that long?!), so I feel I still have a lot of room to grow in my walk. My favorite books include The Last Unicorn, Howl's Moving Castle, The Princess Bride, A Little Princess, The Neverending Story, and a bunch more that would make this post 1274869561875687 million miles long. I'm finally starting CS Lewis and Tolkein, and loving it so far. : ) I'm also a big Doctor Who fan and LOVE fairy tales. Anyways, I really enjoy fantasy writing, mainly wordbuilding, even if I'm really terrible at it. And now that I'm a Christian, I feel like I want everything I do to glorify Him and draw me closer, not be a distraction, which my writing was becoming without having Him in its center. And I immediately wished I'd come a lot sooner so I could have gotten to know people starting sooner. ) That said, everyone's different. =) But yes, I'd encourage you to at least try. Awesome, friendly people abound there (unless it's empty xD).
