Google news... Partially understandable during the election cycle, but now that it's over there's no reason to frequent it as often as I do. |

I dunno. This is a joint thread with Belac... Though I talk about Viggo Mortensen a LOT, and have a lot of pictures of him as profile pictures, and Seer says that's an obsession, so... that's how I define an obsession, I suppose. |

I don't think it's really an obsession, per se. My current waning fad is probably Loki. |

Europa Universalis III. Right now I have three separate games of it going: One where it's 1800 and Great Britain (me) has just about put down the American Revolution, one where it's 1442 and Muscowy (me again) is gradually working towards unifying Russia, and one where it's 1679 and Italy (guess who) rules most of Europe and a fair amount of Asia. |

I don't know. I probably used to have some when I was younger (playing on online games too much etc) but I've grown out of them as I've grown older. |

Music. I love music. Old music, music with words, rock, pop, music from the 60s, 70s, 80s... it just intrigues me how people can create music that sounds like that - music that can make me feel good, or lonely, sad, or happy. It's amazing how songs can change your mood. Proof - did you know the BeeGees were first managed by a manager from Brian Epstein's company? Brian Epstein managed the Beatles at first. Did you know that Lionel Richie and Michael Jackson wrote the song "We are the World", to be performed by great artists from the '80s? Did you know Weird Al Yankovic parodies popular songs, and is also a Christian? |

Hmph, I'm not sure if this would count as an "unhealthy" obsession I love dragons: dragon jewelery, dragon stuffed animals, dragon figurines, dragons in books, dragon artwork, writing about dragons and pretty much any other thing that has to do with dragons. I enjoy reading books written as science books about dragons, especially ones that list different kinds of dragons and where their legends originated from. (Such as Wyverns, Amphithere, Wyrms, Eastern Dragons, Drakes, "normal" Western Dragons, Knuckers, and so forth.) Other than that, I can't think of any long lasting obsession/fad I have. :Edit: Haha, oh, I also have dragons in my HW avatar. . . ~ZA |

Libraries--truly, I think they are damaging to my health. Late nights--I never go to bed on time and am tired the next day. Skittles--especially in November, when I need all the sugar for writing energy. Music--I don't think that one is unhealthy. The Internet--Yeah. That thing. XD And (no offense) HW--It's generally the first site I bring up when browsing. |

Eggnog is my unhealthy obsession during these few months. I buy gallons of it and drink it all the time. Oh, what's for breakfast? Eggnog!!! I got my roommate hooked on it as well. I also have an unhealthy obsession with crab rangoons. All you can eat Chinese restaurants basically become all you can eat crab rangoons for me. Little bit of rice, little bit of sweet and sour sauce, tad bit of sesame chicken, and platefuls of crab rangoons is my idea of a good dinner. Hmm. I wonder if the Chinese restaurant will let me bring eggnog inside?... |

BushMaid wrote: RedWing the Purple wrote: Currently? Disney. More specifically, Oswald. Is that the octopus? Oswald is a rabbit. Disney didn't like this, so he ended up not renewing his contract at all. Devastated, Walt took a train back home. On the way there he coined the idea for a new cartoon character - Mickey Mouse. Recently ABC (owned by Disney) let go of their contract with a sportscaster so he could work for NBC (owned by Universal). As part of the deal, Universal transferred all of the rights to the character of Oswald back to Disney. He now appears as a prominent character in the Epic Mickey video games. |
