| Hi, my name is Rebekah. I joined Holy Worlds a few months ago, but have been far to busy to be able to participate in the forum since. I learned about the forum through Aubrey Hansen. About me: I am a Bible believing, born again, Christian. I am the eldest in a family of several children and I am twenty-two years old. About my writing: I am currently an unpublished writer. LORD willing, I hope to change that in the very near future. I usually write Contemporary Conservative Christian Fiction. I think most of my books might be technically called Young Adult Fiction, but I’m really not all that sure. I love to take multiple story-lines and weave them into a complicated, yet cohesive tapestry. Most of my books take place in the same (fictional) area of the United States. Occasionally my characters from one book will appear in another, but I have yet to actually write a series. All of my books so far stand-alone. Currently I’m working to publish a children’s book, finish my first full-length novel, and preparing notes for this year’s NaNoWriMo. (Which LORD willing, I plan to join this year for the first time.) Other things I write include poetry, book reviews, essays, blog posts, songs, and short stories. I have yet to try journalism, but other than that, I’ve tried writing in almost every form, including e-mails, letters, and journal entries. Besides writing, I also love to read. My favorite authors include Jules Verne, Chautona Havig, Charles Dickens, Agatha Christie, and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Besides my every going writing studies, I’m studying music, drawing, singing, and history, all while perfecting my skills as a homemaker. I’m looking forward to getting to know everyone! | |

I'm afraid I don't have a logline for it... I can't get one to work with a series of vignettes yet. I especially enjoy soundtracks, as well as music by Gabriel Hudelson. But when I'm singing, I love hymns and psalms. Then again, if I'm playing the piano I like to play almost all of the above and then anything else that catches my fancy! I enjoy drawing portraits. So far I draw from photographs, but someday I would love to master the art of drawing a portrait freehand with the person sitting in front of me. That's a ways in the future though.

| Welcome to Holy Worlds, Rebekah! What are your favourite hymns to sing? I have always enjoyed Agatha Christie! I think Poirot is my favourite out of her books; but I enjoy Miss Marple as well, and some of the Tommy and Tuppence mysteries. Which are your favourite? | |

I haven't read Nicholas Nickleby, but A Tale of Two Cities is among my top favorites.

I love Be Thou My Vision, It is Well, All Hail the Power, and Crown Him with Many Crowns. But there are so many others - I could probably go on for an entire page at least! I do love Be Thou My Vision though, perhaps the best. It's such a beautiful hymn with a beautiful meaning. Hmm... I know my favorite book I've read of hers so far was The Mysterious Affair at Styles. I'm not sure though if Monsieur Poirot is my favorite, or Miss Marple, when it comes to characters. I like them both. Though Monsieur Poirot makes me laugh more. As for Tommy and Tuppence - I've only read the first book about them. I didn't care much for Tuppence, but I liked Tommy.

| Welcome to HW, Rebekah. It sounds like you lead a fun and busy life. I love Sherlock Holmes mysteries. Which one is your favorite? I haven't read any yet, but I've seen a number of the old 1940s movies and have listened to some on audio. Be Thou My Vision is one of my favorite hymns, too. In fact, I'm learning a Celtic setting version on the piano. Rebekah wrote: I forgot to add classical music to that list. How I missed typing that, I have no idea. Mr. Handel is my favorite classical composer right now, I think. Classical music is my absolute favorite! And I LOVE Handel! Which of his works is your favorite? Mine is the Hallelujah Chorus from the Messiah. That might be my favorite song ever. Hope to see you around the forum. It's always fun to see new faces...well, not literally, but you know what I mean. | |

I love my characters, I'm just not sure if I could come up with a book worth of new stories, without becoming exhausting and repetitive. Does that make sense? Yes, there are a few I haven't overly enjoyed of the films, one of them being Taken At The Flood, I really don't like that one. But I love most of the others. We have the whole collection now, bar the ones that are coming out in 2013. *Nods* No We didn't really like Murder on the Orient Express either.
