Sandy Cove is a Christian conference center located in North East, Maryland. Every summer they do vacation programs each week, Sunday-Friday. The very first one they do (the week of July first) is homeschoolers only, and my family has been attending this for six years now. It's a really amazing place. Not only is there no end to the activities, but there's also daily Bible study and so many new friends! I've made some of my best friends there. It's totally safe. Everyone's Christian, and (when I go, at least) everyone's homeschooled. I actually met Ciela Rose, the person responsible for my joining HW, and Eli McGowan there. Also, this year I met and recruited Anglophile98 for HW.
All this to say, it's a really great place that you and your parents should check out if you live anywhere near Maryland. They do scholarships for families who can't afford to go (that has been the sole reason we've gone, most or all of the six years we've been going).
