Not sure if this is the right category or not, but here it is.

Roager wrote:
Just say, "Sup my HW peeps. Looking for a male voice to be in my comedy radio thingy [...] Who wants to try out?"

Roager said it much better than I can. I have a audio play that I'm putting together. It's about 15 pages and I have one more spot left. Some time this week I'd love to hold an open audition for the character on Skype, audio chat only. You could even audition for me on the HW Group Call, if I'm there and the other people on the call don't mind.

Here is the logline for the script, so that any interested parties may get a flavor for what it's about:

Quote:
"Beth wakes up one morning to find herself kidnapped, locked in a house with two delusional brothers that believe themselves to be otherworldly. But are they? And will she escape them before she loses her sanity?"

If you'd like more info, post on this thread or PM me.

I may also need another female voice, so girls are allowed to audition too.

Thanks! :D

She was going to make this signature longer but suddenly she was ensnared in a one-quote maximum so she shall glare at the longer signatures in protest.

*Would audition, but her audio skype is basically useless due to internet issues*

Well, we now have the full cast for the first installment of the audioplay! Don't worry, I plan on writing more with more characters that need voices, so if you didn't get a chance this time you'll have plenty of opportunity later.

And the voice actors areee:

Narrator - SilverIllusion
Beth - NotThatShort
Edmund Cummins - Roager
Jake Cummins - MadeFree
Remi/Cat - Emily Hancock

If anyone would like to help me edit the script, we'd love to have you on the team! I'd like to have the recording done before the end of November, so please, in you have a little bit of free time and are interested, please contact me ASAP.

Can't wait for y'all to hear it, these guys and gals are the funniest ever!

Maybe you should let them know that it's a spoof of Twilight.

It's not exactly a spoof, it just has a few close character similarities.

I have a feeling this is going to be a load of fun.

Anyway I can help with the script just let me know. :)

Me too!

I'll probably put the script up on GoogleDocs, so people can read, edit, and practice their lines without having to save a bunch of revisions on their computer.

Me too! I can probably audition via Skype, but I don't think I'll be able to record. Not just yet.

Well, all the the parts are cast for this project, but I'll probably have many more after that if people like it, so no rush. :)

Hey y'all.

I regret to say that my narrator had to drop out of the project because she won't be able to work on it, so I'm looking for a new narrator. If anyone would like to try out I'll be on the HW Skype call today or you could throw me a PM and we could work out something with pre-recording a few lines from the script and sending it to me over email.

She doesn't need a guy in particular; I just suggested Kevin because of his faux accent.

I would love to do it, if only my voice wasn't so horrible. :P
