Sounds like they'll be doing an MRI today to see about taking off her neck brace. She still has not woken up and they don't know when she will. The doctor said she may get worse today before getting better.

Eli and his mom are driving out from Virginia today to be there with her.

You have no idea how much your prayers mean. Keep them up, as I know you will.

My dad called to say that the swelling around Noelle's eye and chin has gone down, and she's settled down quite a bit...keep praying...

God, thank you for creating Noelle and for giving her to the world. She is loved by everyone; even these people who don't know her are praying fervently for her healing. Lord, Your children are united all around the world for this one purpose: to lift Noelle up to You in prayer. You are the great Physician, Father, and we know that You can heal Noelle completely.
Lord, You say that when two or more agree in prayer, it shall be done for them by their Father in heaven. Many, many more than two are praying now, so we claim that promise, for You cannot and will not break your promises. Lord, heal Noelle; let her suffer no lasting repercussions from this accident.
I also lift up the Holmes family to You Lord. Give them peace; shelter them under Your wings. Let them know that everything will be all right, and give them comfort in the knowledge that their brothers and sisters in Christ are praying for them.
And I pray for Eli, that he would have a clear mind and make no hasty, rash decisions. Give him and his mother traveling mercies as they make the long trip to Kansas.
As You command, so shall it be, Father. You are a loving and perfect God and You keep Your promises, so I know that You will heal Noelle.

Not too serious compared to the Diffuse Axonal Injury, but yet another issue. No word back yet about the MRI. They sewed up a cut on her ear and the gash near her hairline though. Noelle has many more than two interceding for her. Keep praying, nonetheless, for Noelle's healing, for her to recover fully and have no missing memory or impaired motor functions, for peace and comfort for their whole family, and for guidance and wisdom for the doctors.
There is always a light shining somewhere, no matter how dim or far-off it may be.

Brand new update on Noelle, and it's good news from her MRI!!!!!! They see no evidence of the previously supposed Diffused Axonal Injury (brain damage). What appears now to be the cause of her unconsciousness is the small fracture at the base of her skull. She is currently on sedation, and they are now beginning to wean her off of it. The doctors think it's possible that she may wake up this evening or tonight.

I spent the night in Newton, KS with Noelle's aunt and uncle... great people, really made me feel comfortable. I got to see Noelle for the first time today - it was very, very tough. The doctor said the unconsciousness is extremely baffling, as there is no known cause - DIA has been all but ruled out at this point, and her fracture did not put pressue on her brain stem. A neurologist will be examining her today to look into this question. Also, she's having a feeding tube put in as I'm writing this so she can recieve nutrition. Please continue praying that she wakes up and heals. Please pray for peace for the rest of us. And above all, pray God will be glorified through our story.
