Welcome to Holy Worlds, Tarin!
How did you find out about Holy Worlds? Was it through another member, search, ect? I find it to be a perfect place for the kinds of writings I do...when the inspiration and time comes to me. I hope you're able to make your home here like the rest of us. ^^

I found you guys searching on the internet for something like Christian fantasy. I, too, am hoping it's a good place to be for the type of writing I'm interested in, and I'm looking forward to making it home.

Welcome Lord Tarin!
Your interests seem quite extensive! It sounds like you are a lover of classics. So might I ask if you have read 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea? It's one of my personal favorite books. (And, although it doesn't say it right now, my username used to be Captain Nemo, if that is any indication of how much I love the book. I can explain the rest of my username if you so wish...)
Although I don't listen to Bach or Beethoven in my spare time (oldies and musicals are more my listening interests), I do play them on piano. I thoroughly enjoy playing piano, and I am currently working on Bach's Toccata in D Minor. It's an arrangement since it's meant for organ, but it sounds great on piano, too. One of my main reasons for wanting to play that piece in particular is because Captain Nemo (from 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea) played that piece in the 1954 Disney version of the movie (which I personally think is an awesome movie!).
What type of music to you tend to play?
And, although I have not read The Lord of the Rings or The Hobbit, they will make it on my large reading list. I have seen the movies, though, (and watched siblings play the Hobbit play station game...)
Spring is a wonderful season! But so is fall. That's the time of year you get hot apple cider, fresh apples, apple pies, sugar.... Haha.
Have you ever heard of the Kingdom Keepers book series? You strike me as the type of person who would enjoy it.
Do you have any favorite movies/TV shows?
I hope you enjoy your stay on here. If you need any help or have any questions, feel free to PM me. I love helping out. *Blows boatswain whistle* WELCOME LORD TARIN!
OH! And you should try visiting chat sometime if you haven't already. It's a wonderful place where nearly anything can happen.
Wow, where do I begin?
Yes, I have read 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, although I found some parts of it tedious.
I love playing piano as well. Toccata and Fugue in D Minor?

That's impressive. It's probably my favorite of Bach's works. I mostly play classical, but I do some stuff from movies and mess around with a few of my own compositions as well.
Fall is a close second to spring. Sometimes I can't decide, espeically when I think of chilly nights and drinking warm cider around a fire.
I haven't read the Kingdom Keepers. Who is it by?
The Lord of the Rings are my favorite movies, but I also like Narnia.
Regarding your name, O'Hara reminds me of Gone With the Wind and Banner makes me think of the novel Banner in the Sky by I forget who.

I agree about the Irish whistle, Tarin! It's absolutely beautiful. Have you put any of your music on the internet? I'd be interested in listening to it.
Warning: Extreme music lover ^
I don't have any music on the internet currently, but I do compose songs that I'm hoping might be used for an audio version of my series.
Warning: Extreme music lover meets extreme music lover.

*clears throat* Anyway.
Tarin, (or do you prefer Zac?) you said Lord of the Rings is your favorite book. Do you mean the trilogy as a whole? (Since it might as well be one book...I think Tolkien intended it that way and his publishers balked) Do you have a favorite contemporary novel?
Tarin is fine in this world of exotic names.
Yes, Tolkien did intend LtoR to be a single book and yes I meant the trilogy as a whole. If I had to pick a recent favorite, i.e. in the last fifteen years, I'd go with one of Chuck Black's Knights of Arrethtraebooks.
This is officially my longest post. Thanks for all the questions and interest.

Sorry I had to delete all the smilies from the quotes, but apparently there's a limit of 7.
